I've been a Destiny vet from day one. I love this game, and I love my Exo Hunter. However, he won't be coming with me to Destiny 2, because I got it on PC. This is super stupid, and really makes me sad that I won't be seeing my Hunter again. Bungie, pls fix.

transfer what????? we cant even transfer anything from D1 to D2 in the same console except the facial looks (and you can do that again), because it is a NEW GAME. Im a D1 closed beta player and really dont get your crying
-
Bungie has made it abundantly clear that they don't give a -blam!- about the players. Sorry man.
-
Should be able to play anywhere as long as you sync your details and what not on Bungie.net, Xbox, PS and PC same guardians and gear across all platforms, but Sony thinks they're better than everyone else so it won't happen... :/
-
You can transfer. I already switched my Bungie account from Xbox to the blizzard app
-
Dude, who cares? Just make the same one again, it's not like they changed any of the customization options. LOL
-
Microsoft already has this feature on some newer titles. I don't understand how they...Oh yeah... Sony can't control the PC market as well. Microsoft does. They'll never let Bungie move that sum of love to their competitor
-
There are games that are cross compatible between Xbox and windows based pc's.....the only thing I can think of not allowing them to also do so is that they have been sucking Sony's teat since before day 1
-
Who cares? It's a new game! What don't you understand about that? Muted for whining and ignorance.
-
Bungie can barely tie their own shoe laces. You expect them to be able to do what a lot of games of done for years? Anything Bungie does is about 10 years behind everyone else.
-
Why should you be able to? PC shouldn't even be an option.
-
Edited by Cry: 8/11/2017 11:42:04 AMYou have a total of 87 hours. You're more like a day one participant.
-
Edited by Backlum Chaam: 8/11/2017 1:55:12 AMYou mean the exo hunter you have approximately 5 days of gaming with.......since day 1.......veteran?! Edit. Sorry-my mistake. Approximately 3 days of gaming.
-
It's tied to your console ID, your gamertag or PSN. Not much to be done about that.
-
I would love to have the same character on both PC and Xbox, so I could play with friends on both and keep the same loot
-
Add a fourth option that you should be able to transfer from one console family to the other. It should be tied to our bungie.net accounts, NOT our console accounts. If Ubisoft can do it with Uplay and their points system (I can earn points playing a game on PC and use them for rewards on XB1, for example), then Bungie shouldn't have any issues doing it with our bungie.net accounts. It's literally ONLY cosmetic character options and the date they were created. That's it. They KNEW people would flock to PS4 after getting shafted by timed exclusivity on XB1 and they sure as hell knew people would wait for the PC version, so why punish us?
-
3 days doesnt equate to much. Your not even close to max light lol. What do you want to bring over? Its easy to replicate another character man.
-
What war did you fight in.
-
Feel kinda the same way would have been nice to get the cosmetic stuff, but ultimately I don't care. I find it odd that they have a code redemption process here and didn't utilize it though.
-
Apparently people don't think we can see their play time. Fail
-
Yeah I might get it on PS4 and PC. If I was able to transfer my character between them then I'd 100% buy both. It feels like they dont want free money. Kinda like how we probably still can't customize all emotes
-
Literally nothing will matter if you transfer anything.
-
Bungie does not have control on your ability to transfer from console to PC. That functionality is squarely on Microsoft/Sony to allow. Usually they do not allow this because that means one less person playing on their personal platform buying product through their devices and market.
-
Considering bungie keeps our saved info they should be able to do this for pc gamers.
-
Dont see why its such a big issue. If you switch between consoles, you will lose your progress. On basically 99.9% of games. Switching to a PC is the same thing. Deal with it.
-
Why would you get it on pc in the first place? Don't they release it for that considerably later than console versions? I mean, I get a pc potentially have better graphics or run smoother, but still I wouldn't wanna wait longer to play the game just for that. The console graphics are plenty hd enough and like others were saying you don't get anything for transferring your old characters likeness
-
Preeeeetty sure you can remake him in no time flat...
