Everytime I come onto these forums I always see like 50 guys talking about their wife's and kids. Like I'm 18, I'm starting to think teenagers on this teenage game doesn't exist
EDIT: Starting to actually like the adults. All have cool stories and sorry if I offended any of you, I just wanted to have a mature but also semi immature age group to play with because I know when I'm gaming with an adult I can be annoying

In the military half the 18-21 year olds are married and quite a few even have kids.

Edited by smokin: 7/28/2016 2:45:26 AMMy first console was a Coleco Intellivison, hell I remember going to the arcade and playing Ring King, Operation Wolf and a helluva lot of other games....I miss the arcade took my kids to one and it's all ticket machines and garbage games now.

I'm 19. I grind a job I don't even like for 40+ hours a week, I'm still dealing with school & bills, as well as the military. I feel a lot closer to those 30 year olds than anyone my age.

Actually nice having legitimate discussions of Destiny rather than nerf babies and /b/ style rants. I'm cool with whatever the forums offer, but I'll take the mature talks over the amusing trash
-
I haven't noticed any nerf or hate post, it's kinda nice :)

Edited by MIKE-B_CHILLIN: 7/27/2016 10:21:32 PMIm 32. Guys like us been hooked on gaming since the late 80s early 90s What you know about going to an arcade to play mortal kombat or bringing your ps1 controller to an friends to play nba live because ypu didnt want use his madkatz controller. I missed those days when developers gave you 110% in making games. There was no patches or dlc so if that game was trash, you was getting shamed and you lost money. Once the internet got ahold of the gaming industry it went downhill. Edit: didn't think that many ppl would respond to this.

I'm 45, been playing since games were just lines and square balls bouncing on the screen, most of the guys i play with are all 30+, think it's just that the teens get pissed off and bored with things fast, that's why adults are constantly on game or on the board....generation born to grind lol
-
The average game is like 35 apparently. It's all old guard.
I'm only 23.
Nah im 19

Probably because guys our age started with the console gaming. I've started with Atari 2600 which I've promptly binned when the 52 came out, plenty of regrets now that those old consoles are worth heaps. Best memories are probably when we lugged that huge orginal xbox to a mate's house for Halo gaming session. Internet came around and ruin that aspect of social gaming a bit.

What's the deal with young people forgetting that they getting old too lol
-
They may not be that old, I had my first offspring when I was 22, played SNES with him for the longest time.
-
Back in my day we didn't have all these spiffy graphics. It was a controller with one big red button. And a dot that bounced back and forth. Lol! I even PC gamed on my Commadore 64. Load Runner anyone? Had a Sega Master system, NES, Genesis, SNES, all the PS, Dreamcast, GameCube, and XB..... Never bought a 360 or XB1. Have been and always shall be a gamer. You're welcome for all the lovely games us predecessors brought forth.

Shut up meg
-
We are the ones who made gaming what it is today My first system was atari 2600

Just because it's rated teen doesn't mean it's a teen game. Just because we've already been playing longer than your entire life doesn't mean we should stop.

Why would you think it's for teenagers? Teenagers don't have any money.

I'm 42. I prefer playing with adults. Kids and teens can be fun, too, if they aren't so busy trying to be badasses in front of their friends, or bow up to a new fire team. I've had my share of bad and good experiences with young and old on this game. There's no age limit to gaming. I say just find people you enjoy playing with and cultivate those friendships. I've met people from all over the world. The conversations can be quite captivating sometimes. Other times you just want to rage quit. Most of the time, though, it's a pleasurable, fun experience intended to relieve the stressors of the day. Bottom line is show mutual respect and just enjoy the game for what it is, a game.
-
I find it is a pretty good mix of ages. A few my age (32), a few 20 something's, a couple of kids. One of my closest friend I met through Vault runs on 360 is only 16. I've met great, and horrible people from all age groups.

ZX Spectrum, Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy, Jetpack, Sabre Wulf, Galaga... Ppl in their forties built the game industry & played the games, published magazines, gave away code on cassettes.. Gaming has a brilliant underground history in the UK. Was a great time back then that helped lay the groundwork for Doom n CoD n Halo etc If yer not aware of the roots, turn off the console, make a pot of coffee & hit Google for some history 😃

I think butthurt would be so proud of you
