In the military half the 18-21 year olds are married and quite a few even have kids.

Doesn't mean they were mature adults. Trust me, dealt with too many as a squad leader. You do end up maturing a lot faster in the military though. They start getting it by 22.

Depends on the individual to be honest. The married troops I get tend to think they're more mature than they actually are vs the single ones.
