Below are facts and nothing else. Lowest melee range out of any class. Situational super, but one shots everything. Can be killed while in animation. Grenade similar to tripmine. Cannot stick. 2-3 shot. Titan skating. (Edit. Arguablly done on warlock and hunter, awaiting results. Bones of eao agility builds are faster confirmed.) Reasonable melee and buff perks. (aftermath included) Shoulder charge one shot. Takes up a perk slot. Requires charge window, and can be killed easily with a shotgun or teamshot/ team melee. Requires awareness to counter. Good for inferno. These are facts. Unbiased, as i play all three classes. Make your choice. 150+ replies And 200+ votes. 250+ replies and unknown votes. Damn... 300+ replies. Lets see it reach max light! Over the light cap! 400+ replies :) Got over 600 while i was sleeping. Lets make bungie see this. 800+. Damn, only 10x less than 8000! 1000 posts !!!   • I personally think they need Balance changes, mostly in terms of doing more damage outside of their super. I was originally going to type up this huge post on the subject but I see Metia actually summed up my point pretty well. Though I do need to mention, Fist of Havoc has a few weaknesses. there's a reason it has that nickname on the internet. you know what I mean. *Ahem* but still, used right, it's dangerous, just like everything in the right hands. Me with Blink in this game is like that. you literally won't even have two seconds to see my blip on your motion tracker and you'll get shotgunned down. and if you do, trying to hit me will not be easy. Fist of Havoc has a few ways it can be completely nullified. Shadestepping if you do it right as someone activates FoH will make you take NO damage. Blinking if you manage to get lucky and do it right BEFORE they activate will have the same effect, though you still take like 7% of your shield in chip from being right on the edge of the blast and coming out of your warp. I can't think of any others but I know a point blank shotgun to their face would also probably save you if they don't have the Damage reduction perk on (Can't think of its name right now) So, in summary, there's technically nothing in the game that ACTUALLY needs Nerfing. Not even the dreaded Hawkmoon or MIDA. if you get good enough with something else, like me with blink + Binary Dawn or Radiance + Radiant Skin + Telesto + Solar Grenades, you can stand your ground and counter anything with relative ease. And if all else fails, grab a Hawkmoon and MIDA yourself. There's a reason people use them, they're powerful. *Holding Aces/Troll Smasher intensify* "Eyes up, Guardian. Ghost said that to me, once.       • Everyone who complains about Titan skating is just ridiculous. Fastest character doesn't mean fastest just In a straight line, it means fastest overall. And that is the hunter. Sure Titans might be able to set our perks to make us fast, but that's only if we Titan skate and if there are no pebbles in the way or no turns.

            Been playing Striker since Alpha here are my thoughts: Shoulder Charge: This seems to be one of the biggest topics for nerfs so I'll say my thoughts on this first, it's a high risk high reward ability, you basically have to run in a straight line towards your enemy which leads to a lot of shotgun deaths etc. Personally I don't think it needs a nerf because anyone with a little gun skill can take you out. (I personally use it for mobility with my Titan skate only getting kills with it if I'm flanking) Fist of Havoc: Honestly it works as intended, again it's high risk high reward, you have to run in and slam giving the enemy team plenty of time to kill you, most FoH multi kills come from flanking up on the enemy and taking them out why they aren't paying attention, for super shutdowns it's basically the same thing you have to charge in and slam. Death from above makes it easier to get kills but also slows down the time to slam giving anyone with some gun skill enough time to pick you out of the sky. Titan Skate: I think it's increased control working as intended. Your having to spam your jump which gives you little directional control while skating unless your using a scuf or playing claw. Most of the time I find myself getting stuck on walls etc. just because skating takes away a good bit of directional control even with a scuf. Skating has a lot of downsides that can lead to death, but I could see why people don't like it especially when it's paired with twilight garrison (which isn't as bad as it was with the nerf). Storm fist: Does 120 damage with overload you get a chance at instant recharge. Pretty balanced to me considering Strikers are supposed to be an up close melee heavy subclass. It's fine considering things like back stab and flame shield (personally I think flame shield should work like the Defenders force barrier to get the shield) Lightning Grenades: Last but not least these infamous beauties. They do 122 a pulse with 4 pulses (5 pulses if you are running aftershocks). The grenades are meant to act as zoning grenades blocking the enemy from charging you by giving large bursts of damage, if you get hit by these you should back up that's all there really is to it, the grenade pulses slow enough to give you time to get out of the way, the only time your going to get a kill with these things is if the enemy doesn't move out of the way, you get a great grenade placement where they can't get out of the way, or you use it to finish them off if they are running from a gun fight (an example would be a a shotgunner running to a corner only for you to attach the grenade to the wall and drop them). They do have a large area of a effect but they should since they are used to keep you away when capping an objective, etc. Lightning grenades also have a huge downside and that's the way the stick to walls, I can't even begin to count how many times I've thrown a lightning at a flat wall only to see it hook to a ledge, lightbulb, or some weird small object and completely screw up the arc of the grenade. You really have to time and aim them to make sure they land how you want them to otherwise they are useless. If they change anything I could only see them maybe slowing the time between pulses. Other Striker Grenades: Let's be honest they are trash. Flashbangs don't even blind you all the way you can still see through them. That's pretty much it, may change some things if I see I put some wrong information etc. Figured I should give my opinion and thoughts on this since I've been playing this subclass longer than some of you have been playing this game. TL;DR Striker is a very balanced high risk high reward subclass. Lightning grenades are powerful but if nerfed at all only the time between pulses should be changed or it could lead to ruining the grenade. Shoulder Charge and Titan skating are easy to counter. EDIT: Juggernaut: Forgot about because I never use it. Could use a shield reduction since it can block GG shots and sniper shots. It's really only useful for shotgun rushing or charging in for a slam. It's not used a lot so I don't see the need for any huge changes but it does definitely at least some sort of change. EDIT 2: Ok I didn't know with the buff that juggernaut might not be able to block a GG. Anyone know for sure?

                The striker never was OP, still isnt. People already play the Titan the least. The Titans overall have the worst K/D of all classes. And you want to nerf the only real thing a Titan does differently than punch and shoot. Shoulder charge isn't OP. It's not even good. If it was so amazing Strikers would be more played. They'd have way higher k/ds. The difference in k/d between a striker and Sunbreaker is very high. As in a Sunbreakers is way higher than the strikers. But yet. Nerf the striker? So many liars of these forums. Data is traceable. So I know how full of shit you guys are.

                • I dont get why bungie didnt just buff base agility for hunters if they are supposed to be fastest. I run max agility on my hunter usually and i am as fast as a skating titan. Being honest all classes should get a buff of their particular focus. Hunters should be the fastest. Should they chose to run max agility. Titans should be strongest. Should they chose to run max armour. And the same applies to warlocks. Rather than nerf something that is fine buff the things that arent doing enough. Shoulder charge is fine. I main a hunter and tried to use shoulder charge. Despite what people belive it takes timing and skill. Yes occasionally they will get lucky as with all things. Also easy to counter, fusion rifle or shotgun. All in all titans are fine. And i say this as a hunter. Yes i joined in year 2. My opinion should still be valid as i have taken the time to look into these things. I may have some amendments later.

                      All the warlocks and hunters I go up against in crucible feel the exact same. Im not killing more with my titan because they were nerfed to the ground. Strikers are not op.. Op is what the sunbreaker was at the beginning of ttk, being able to destroy someone off of dot from a nade that just needs to be thrown close enough, and being able to make yourself invincible on call by spamming circle. Gunslinger and blink did not need any adjustments in pvp. I honestly feel ppl are just upset about the nerfs to their playsyle which I understand. But foh and sc are op? Cmon..

                    • IMHO Strikers are pretty annoyingly balanced. Not too weak, not to OP, but just annoying enough to keep it interesting. The only thing I can think of that really needs toned down a bit is the vertical range of FoH (not trying to complain), Hulk-Smashing everyone in a 15 meter radius -- definitely, that's their fault for bringing the fight too close. But getting OHK'd while 30+ feet above you in the air? Cmon man

                          They didn't buff the Titan to even warrant a discussion about a nerf on this topic. So sick of you guys on this forum. The biggest loser, sour grape, crybabies I have ever seen. It literally has not changed since release. This is 100% the bitchings of salty ass people because their class was touched.

                          • Due to how the Striker plays, there is very little you can do that would keep the people throwing a temper tantrum happy. Fist of Havoc vertical range? Watch it drop and you'll see why it has vertical range. Lightning grenade? Don't stand around to get hit by it multiple times. Just walk 2 feet to either side. Shoulder Charge? There's really nothing you can do that wouldn't destroy shoulder charge. Same with Juggernaut.

                            In my [b][i]OPINION[/i][/b] the only thing that needs changes in the subclass is the Lightning grenade, a [b]very[/b] slight change to shoulder charge, and possibly the super's vertical range. Lightning grenade: reduce the damage and range, because it's quite annoying how it can bring down around 80% of your health the second it hits a surface, and then pulses for a while with incredible range for s grenade. Should charge: maybe increase the time it takes for it to charge while sprinting, or maybe reduce the range. Fist of panic *cough cough* I mean havoc. Reduce verticals range so that if a player is high above the Titan the fist of "havoc" don't be able to kill the player. I never really played as a striker much, would always use defender or the sunbreaker instead. That's just my [b][i]OPINION[/i][/b] from my time playing as a striker and my time playing crucible. If you're gonna write a comment about how I'm wrong then please word it correctly and be nice.

                            • Though I don't think they NEED a nerf, I can see the community getting them one eventually. I wouldn't have a problem with the cone range of the lightning grenade being toned down. That or time in between pulses. Either or, not both. For shoulder charge I wouldn't mind seeing them take some of the aim assist off but only if they can do that without mucking up the hit detection. All class supers can be stopped by killing the person who casts it. Idk I gave up on reading it. Doesn't look unbiased or honest tbh. Especially since lightning nades 2 shot you, doing somewhere around 110 dmg a burst. Dunno where any of this wasn't written with a bias of Titans in mind. It's cute that you say unbiased in title but most of the poll options are "leave them alone" or "omg their super op nerf" with like 6 options or something. Bias as shit bud.

                                  • Lol at the people complaining about lightning grenades. Probably the same people who are always preaching about AWARENESS when it comes to firebolts (pre-nerf) and getting domed by snipers. Furthermore, out of all the most commonly used grenades, I can honestly say without a doubt that I have been killed by and even damaged by lightning grenades the least. Maybe try not crouching in a corner like a pansy so much. Maybe try putting away your shotgun for a few seconds and pay attention to your surrondings intstead of running around like a meth head.

                                      • It's in a good place currently, but it will get nerfed. People are asshurt about the latest patch and want to see Titans punished for it. Sooner or later, it will face the wrath of Bungie's nerf bat. Juggernaut, is the only thing questionable about the subclass imo.
