So it would appear, based on Deej's own words, that those not buying TTK will be capped at 34 and locked out of nightfalls, which are now level 40 only. So fanboys, I challenge you to [u]try[/u] to defend Bungie on this for me, I'm positively [i]dying[/i] to hear this.
*Update* I hate to say I told you so fanboys, but...I told you so. Lol, everything is exactly as I said it would be. And as usual they save that little chestnut for the final week before launch. So let's continue, please fanboys, defend Bungie's latest line of b.s. for me.
*Update* Credit to XBAMNX for confirming that Sony IS giving refunds for add on 1 and 2! This is true, I did it last night. They will review your case and have their decision in 3-5 business days. As politely and eloquently as you can, simply explain how Bungie is locking you out of the content you paid for if you don't buy their new add on. Jump on this Sony customers!

Im pretty sure I remember posts from people who couldnt play nightfall or heroic weekly for weeks, because it was omnigul that kept popping up, ALREADY restricting players who bought vanilla which came with said features. Its the same bs pay dlc to play activities you already had access to model, and they will probably continue down this path to force players to keep buying their crappy DLC. Fanboys will continue to defend their idiotic purchase with statements such as, "adapt or move on" "just buy the dlc you cheap -blam!-" "if you cant buy ttk then you dont deserve to play", I could go on..... Edit: well not directly force, but we all know what it means when I say force, "buy or gtfo" essentially.

4 RepliesDude, the problem is that there are too many children that play destiny and don't understand concepts like the one in you wrote. Ppl saying dumb stuff like, "you want something for free." If you're playing destiny, you've paid for already somehow. This dlc is much larger than the last 2, but pretty much screwed the ppl who don't have it. I think it's pretty lame. DLCs are usually add ons, not replacements. The game is cool and fun to play to a point, but the amount of grinding we have all done and now making us do it all over agian, ppl gonna get burned out. So much of the things I liked to do, now I cant. Voidwalker w obsidian mind and intellect at 100 I could use novas often and generate 8 orbs all the time for my fireteam, that been taken away. Just 1 example, but I'm not sure where bungie is trying to go with this. This game used to be bad ass and everyone loved it. Now, it's so divided and the ppl who used to love it now h8 it. Not because it's not fun. but because the way things are being done. just my opinion.

1 ReplyLook, I don't wanna come across as defending the developers or anything and I don't wanna be stigmatized for what I'm about to say but we can be reasonable here, Destiny is not the only game that does that when new expansions come out, wow does it too and has been for 12 years, as well as other online multiplayer games of their kind when they expand the game, yet for some reason it seems to be only destiny that people have a problem with, if you don't get the expansion then of course you will be locked out of its content because you didn't purchase it, destiny is no exception and nor should it be, designing these games are also not cheap.

You tell me why you should be able to participate in activities that we paid for like the new level cap and the new nightfall which they said it is ever growing. If you chose not to buy the taken king or others then that is your own choice. Just be lucky you where able to keep up for the time you did.

Even got a pretty camo and some Russian writing on it. Gonna have so fun learning how to use it. By the way, ESO makes Destiny look like dog shit. So fanboys enjoy over paying for a fraction of the opinions and gaming experience.

2 RepliesIt kills me to see people call others broke. Im not broke and i will not get the taken king. Its a dlc. Not a used game. No dlc is worth that. I have the money i just don't want to spend that much on a dlc. I dont trust or think its worth it. I also havent played in over a month.

Unfortunately I think you came to the wrong place if you are looking to have an intellectual dialogue about this glaring issue. 8 RepliesLove the game? Buy it. Don't love it? Don't buy it. Defending Bungie I'm not, but ask yourself if Destiny is an investment to you? Consider what else you would rather do.. Consider the cost of that and compare it to Destiny. If you love destiny soo much that you can't afford it, then it's time to get a job. If you have a job and can't afford it.. Well you don't love it enough, because any destiny crack head that works has no life. Destiny crackheads just work and play! That's some cheap entertainment right there! Seriously if you work and are addicted to destinycrack your probably better off than most people because your entire entertainment costs are measured in cents per hour! I'm not going to argue with you. You have a point.. But my point is that for some of us Destiny is an investment. Cheers!
