Borderlands vs. Destiny?

This has been floating around in my head for a while and I am expecting some good answers. I just recently played Borderlands 1 with a group of friends and my god I enjoyed it so much more than the entirety of Destiny. I really want to get it but I'll be waiting to get a gaming PC first. And when I heard Borderlands 2 was even better I was like no way. Impossible. Destiny on the other hand is far more expensive and the content very well shows how it tries to keep you playing. Basically an overrated casino simulator. So what do you guys think? Post-apocolyptic Mad-Max style or post-apocolyptic sci-fi style?

  • For the most part it's a straight quality/quantity tradeoff, but borderlands story and currently low price probably pushes it ahead. Then again if you want to play borderlands endgame it's a looong grind playing the entire story mode 3 times and then once you're 72, the rng is worse than Destiny imo and don't even get me started on the op level nonsense.
