I hate the word entitled. You bought the game, you are allowed to play it. Now I'm not sure what you mean by you are entitled to use everything. If you are talking about the fact that you have grinded for months and X weapon hasn't dropped. No you aren't entitled to it. That's the rules of the game. If you are talking about the fact that you bought Ghorn, and people are trying to make you.feel bad, then again, it's the rules of the game. Be more specific, you'll get a more specific answer.

Edited by Schuzzle6utt: 8/17/2015 10:39:06 AMTechnically yes, however you didn't buy Destiny. You don't own a copy of it. What you paid for is a license to play Destiny, which Bungie owns. With that license you have the right to play any content that you paid for. I'm not sure what you're trying to imply here.

If this is about the lighthouse or something of that manner, then no, you are not entitled to it. In Dark Souls, you aren't allowed to access Sen's Fortress if you are unable to complete the requirements, which is to ring the bells. If you are not good enough to reach the bells, then you can't progress In Destiny, you are not allowed to reach the lighthouse unless you complete the requirements, which is a 9-0 passage. If you are not good enough to go flawless, you can't go to the lighthouse

Just sell your game, please

You're entitled to play it if you can. Just because I bought super Mario doesn't mean I'm entitled to fight bowser. I am entitled to the chance (I'm able to play it) but I have to work my way there. You aren't entitled to a level skip just because there's content you aren't skilled enough to access.
-
Well, if you buy a game, one presumes you are aware that you are spending millions or at least hundreds of thousands of dollars. Since you are here, one can presume you reference Destiny. Which you do not buy, strictly speaking. You buy a license to play it. A license with terms. As a result, you are entitled to the content of that license you purchased, which does not mean that you are entitled, for example, to access to every item within the game or every element of the game. Again, strictly speaking. So, your question as asked, while it makes sense to many people who use "buy a game" as a form of shorthand for the purchase of a license, does not actually have real and genuine value as a form of expression unless you are, in fact, talking about buying a game, outright. Which could not be Destiny (or any other major release), as it is unlikely you are going to spend that kind of money, and it is statistically unlikely that you even have the ability to do so.

I'm not so sure. If I buy bloodborne and can't finish it because it's too hard, i either git gud or leave it alone. I'm not gonna complain about how I'm locked out of content or whatever.
-
If you buy a NES and super Mario bros. there is no guarantee you will EVER make it to the end of stage one. You have the potential to, but there is nothing saying you will. In destiny, same thing. If you have skill and team mates you can see everything in the game (DLCs are a diff story) If you play long enough, and well enough ; you will probably get all the exotics. Outside of this, there remains no guarantees And that's fine with me :)
-
Umm you're not entitled to have it handed to you. Example: people complaining about ToO because they suck at crucible and can't get the good weapons and gear.
-
The fun in loot grinders is working hard to get that new sexy gear, not getting handed all the best gear for simply logging in.
-
You have access to everything in the game. However some of that content is locked and requires you to do something to unlock it. Is this a new concept to video games?
-
Yes, unless you are still a minor. Than no, you are still own by your parents.
-
You realise that back when games were on cartridges you got three lives and no saves and that was it? Couldn't beat the first level of ghosts and goblins? Tough luck that's all your getting regardless of what you pay and no one was complaining that they were entitled to go straight to the last boss just for buying it. You bought access to the game, whatever you do in it or get out of it is up to you. Buying destiny doesn't mean you also bought Gjallarhorn or any other exotic.

You are entitled to: https://www.bungie.net/en/View/Bungie/eula
-
Lololololol he never went flawless he's talking bout the light house
-
So what's the issue here? Do you think you're paying for content that you're not getting?
-
The age of entitlement folks...move along, nothing to see here.
-
Bro what's your point?
-
Explain what content your not using?
-
If you answered no your mom and dad bought the game for you.
-
youre entitled to the flawless achievments unfortunately most folk here arent good enough for all the shwag
-
Variks is that you?
-
Question lacks clarity
-
Who the -blam!- said no?
-
No. Purchasing this game gives you no right to control its content.

Edited by Erijian: 8/17/2015 2:51:03 AMWhat's your point? Everything you paid for is in the game and you're not being intentionally locked out of anything aside from activities which YOU aren't good enough to complete or compete in. This is pretty much how all MMO-type games work.
