Cannot understand the attack on the quote from Phil Spencer except from the mindless fanboys/girls and trolls. This clause never existed in the first place though was part of some of the things they did propose like DRM. Phil has clarified that it's fine if Indies are timed on other consoles first and If they come to Xbox he is open to paying them more money to add something a little special to game that's been out on other platforms first. I didn't see anywhere that this was mandatory the publishers did this otherwise they wouldn't appear on Xbox. This is good news for Xbox gamers or those that have multiple platforms that like a particular game. If it's already been out a year be nice to get something extra but if the publisher doesn't want to do that fine.
