Who wins in a fight?

Three teams of three walk into the crucible.... A gunsliger, a sunsinger, and a sunbreaker AND A bladedancer, a stormcaller, and a striker AND A nighthunter, a voidwalker, and a defender So who wins? Team void, team solar or team arc? Edit: Didn't think this would have blown up! Awesome. And to all the people saying the guns/skill level/maps matter or that we can't know.....all of you missed the point of this post entirely. Its just for fun. To have a cool discussion and to imagine the possibilities. Don't think to hard about it because, while correct, it doesn't add anything. Also, i made a poll with this question already and it got lost on the main forum. Edit 2: Damn! Keep it up people. Lot of responses. So far, id say it looks pretty even between solar and void team. But where's the love for team arc?! Also, I think the new crucible type (mayhem I think?) will be nuts what with all the new classes. Only time will tell....but until then, 420 PRAISE IT!

  • Void. Bubble for protection even though gunsliger can take it down in 2. Unless you dodge that bomb you are going to die. And the tether immediately shuts down all activated supers, except the bubble, and tethered enemies can't activate their supers. Seems obvious.

  • Solar. Golden gun the bubble, and kill off the nightstalker. Hammer kills everyone else and self Rez is there after all the supers have been used

    • I can see a pattern team arc is mostly close combat a bit, team solar is range and void is defensive so I gotta go with arc

    • Depends if your talking about also with guns, it goes between Solar and Void teams. Void is mostly defense and one offense. While Solar has two offense and one defense. It's a matter of tatics. But if I had to pick one, Solar. Offense is a good defense.

      • Team Solar is Ranged Offensive. Golden Gun (GG) and Hammer of Sol (HoS) can rack up a ton of kills/points while the Sunsinger can generate Orbs and offer Song of Flame support. Tripmine Grenades offer Area Denial. Fusion Grenades offer quick kills. Firebolt offers Team Shot Aid. Most potent Super Chain. Team Arc is CQC Offensive. Arc Blade and Storm Trance fear Shotguns, but Striker Titan can use Flash Bangs to negate that threat. FoH can Shutdown Super momentum in CQC. Flashbang Grenade disorients while Arcbolt Grenade Aids Team Shot. Lightning Grenade offers Area Denial and Lethality Team Void is Defensive. Nova Bomb and Shadow Shot can Shut Down/ Trade Enemy Supers from a distance. Ward of Dawn (WoD) can negate enemy Rockets and guarantee Team Shot v. Team Shot victory for Team Void with Blessing and/or Weapons of Light. Gift of the Void (GotV) is the gift that keeps on giving. Vortex grenades and Smoke Bombs allow for powerful Area Denial. Suppressor Grenades significantly reduces enemy options. Axion Bolt aids Team Shot. Team Solar vs. Team Arc [spoiler]Team Arc cannot afford to give Team Solar an inch, as Team Solar's Super Chain is nigh unbeatable. The game will be all but decided by the first exchanges. Team Arc has the Titan's Flash Bang; if well placed it can disorient Team Solar just enough to get the first Team K.O. Team Arc also has Blink via the Blade Dancer to keep the pressure on. Team Solar's only answer to an active Arc Blade or Storm Trance is a well timed Shotgun blast, but once again the Titan's Flash Bang reduces Team Solar's means of fighting and countering effectively. FoH is saved to Shut Down Team Solar's first Super, particularly Radiance, further delaying/impeding Team Solar's lethal Super Chain. Victor: Team Arc[/spoiler] Team Arc vs. Team Void [spoiler]Team Void has many more options for responding to Team Arc's Supers. Suppressor Grenades, Shadow Shot, and Nova Bomb can all neutralize Arc Blade and Storm Trance. However, FoH is the only Super that Team Arc has that can soundly beat an activated Void Super. Once Arc Blade and Storm Trance are negated, WoD is dropped to begin a war of attrition in Team Void's favor. Team Arc with two options 1. Retreat and hope to bait Team Void away from WoD. 2. Attempt to break the WoD with Fist of Havoc. If Team Void doesn't take the bait, they will obtain their Super's sooner during the wait because of WoD's generated Orbs. If Team Arc decides to use FoH it's an uphill battle against Weapons of Light Team-Shot/Snipers, Smoke Bombs, and the odd Suppressor Grenade gimping the Striker before he can get close enough. Breaking WoD could be a pyrrhic victory if GotV is being run, granting Team Void an additional 3 Orbs of Light. These 3 Orbs means that Shadow Shot and Nova Bomb can be used to shut down the next Arc Blade and Storm Trance. Team Void can use Machine Guns safely against Team Arc; WoD can be used to neutralize Grenades and Horseshoe Rockets. This allows Team Void to further delay Team Arcs next Supers while building their own Supers. Victor: Team Void[/spoiler] Team Void vs. Team Solar [spoiler]As before, Team Solar is limited in means of countering other Supers. However, there's little Team Void can do about an active Solar Super aside from Radiance. The most that Void Bomb and Shadow Shot can hope for against a vigilant Golden Gun and Hammer of Sol is a trade; Solar Supers are generally of equal or greater speed and range than Void Supers. Suppressor Grenades don't possess enough range and speed to stop Golden Gun, Hammer of Sol, or a Radiance Sniper in open areas. Ward of Dawn may hold for a few seconds and GotV will generate additional Orbs, but Hammer of Sol and Golden Gun will break WoD at a range and kill at least one member of Team Void, allowing the rest of Team Solar to clean up the rest. Victor: Team Solar.[/spoiler] Battle Royal Team Solar is out of its depths without access to Blink and even less space to breath. This turns into a match between Arc and Void, which has already been covered. Victor: Void

        • The only way the non solar teams can win is if the nova bomb or foh are ised on the sunbreaker and then the TWO duration super the arc team has can finish the job and don't tell me nightstalker can tether them they both have the ability to blink out of the way before the tether can attach so they can kill the remaining team

        • My logic tells me that team solar wins. My experience tells me team void. And my instincts tell me team arc. On paper, team solar would just trump it. Golden gun, radiance and hammer of sol are the highest DPS supers. Gg and hammer can nullify most other supers, and can take out the other teams at a good range. Radiance provides a lot of damage resist, and can easily push non-super enemies into corners with grenades and insta-melee. However, you look at team void and you find supers that are best used playing around other people. The bubble can be used to either grant higher damage to your teams weapons, or give higher health, or counter a bladedancer with armor. The voidstalker can be used to suppress and shut down other players, and if used with an additional two bolts, can take out a whole team. The voidwalker also effectively counters other supers and can be used as a defensive or offensive tool. Team arc though has the striker, whose fist of havoc is the ultimate counter. Practically unkillable and huge damage, nothing is surviving this. Bladedancer proves to be incredibly tricky to deal with sometimes, and with blink might be difficult for golden gun to handle. Stormcaller provides a lot of crowd control and can very quickly eliminate all three enemies, but is best against un-supering enemies. But thats just the supers, doesnt take into account guns, grenades, skill, movement, etc. Wicked post though

            Team Void is a very scary concept especially in a round where everyone is Super Charged...... Team Solar also looks very concerning with a Self Rez clutch and two mid ranged killers. I think Team Arc is being under valued. Most of their Charges are marauding skills allowing them to move around the map picking off groups of players. I think Void could take it out even though it goes against everything I believe in......

                  • Team void! Night stalker cancels out the supers with his bow.. Void-walker Nova-bombs Self res and Blade-dancer... Then hide in bubble till Sun-breaker and Storm-caller end :P
