Can someone from Bungie and not one of these uppity mentors actually help me?

I'm seeing people post all about not being able to stay connected ever since the latest patch came out. I posted before about the bee/anteater/fly codes I have been getting. The mentor brushed it off saying I needed a new modem. So how is it that all my other games work fine, but yet everytime I start Destiny, I get booted? Despite having a good connection accoring to the game itself? Or is this all just a ploy to cheat us out of HoW since I paid for it way back when I bought the game? I see what you are doing. Make me rage quit so Ib get cheated out of the money. Well I want a real answer from a real person who knows what they are talking about. Not some flim flam mentor who won't even acknowledge there is an issue with the Destiny servers.

  • The problem is not the router itself, but the configuration on your router. It sounds like you have an active firewall settings on your router that prevents your console to connect to Destiny's server. I suggest the following things: Add an exception to your firewall to accept and send information to Bungie or Port forward your router to Destiny server.
