The problem is not the router itself, but the configuration on your router. It sounds like you have an active firewall settings on your router that prevents your console to connect to Destiny's server. I suggest the following things: Add an exception to your firewall to accept and send information to Bungie or Port forward your router to Destiny server.   • Destiny uses up much more data (1 GB on average per hour live gameplay, plus the size of any game patches) than other games. That's the reason why you can't compare it to other games any many have issues with keeping connected to Destiny's servers while other games are running fine.
