I'm okay with a delayed raid to ensure it is done correctly. Gives me hope that maybe it is epic and will rival the VoG.
BUT- if they try to charge us for something that we already paid for based on their own advertising campaign then I'm done. I'm completely cool with the arena and the no raid for now.
But if they hit me up for even $9.99 to add a raid which I was already under the impression I had purchased, then fck that....
BUMP this if you agree please so they can get the message.
Again all this is saying is we shouldn't have to pay for the raid when it releases, but I have a feeling we will have too.
-
It'll either drop between HoW and comet for the bargain price of -blam!- all, or be included in comet and the price will stay the same. Either way you won't pay more. Bungie have no options other than these two things. Anything else would be suicide.
-
I hope it's 10.99 just so you and your bitchy friends leave.
-
Agree. I wish they would reveal more details than "we are developing a raid for later this year". I mean, I understand they probably don't have an eta but they could say it's part of a future expansion, something we will get for free, or part of the HoW that they will release when ready.

Here's what those of you who are dissatisfied with bungie's plans are not thinking about, the dlc coming has what is the equivalent of a raid but in a different event, we still get the same amount of content, let's say they charge 10 for a stand alone raid the cost you're paying for the entertainment it will bring you is a steal on our part. I spend 10 just by going to the gas station and getting some snacks, it's nothing. If you truly enjoy Destiny and I know you all really do because you wouldn't care so much if you didn't then spending whatever money on content they drop shouldn't be an issue, most of you are being sucked in by social behavior meaning you're going by all the negativity you see in the forum, think about it and make your own decision.

They won't charge us. HoW expansion was promised with a raid. The problem is they didn't say when. But I really don't raid much anyway

Edited by Th3 Ath3ist: 4/15/2015 12:37:18 AMThey won't "get the message". This is Activision we are talking about here. They have chosen their path with their actions. Millions of people will still buy this game, it's sequels and the DLC for them. They really don't care if people are happy with their game. They know it will be two or three sequels and tons of DLC dollars before people stop buying the franchise. Look at Cod. Ghosts was terrible, and AW did nothing to draw me back. But millions still buy it and drop money on the DLC. I'm not the player they are trying for anymore. The numbers don't lie: Most people who play destiny don't raid, they don't play crucible and the don't have exotic armor or weapons. They aren't trying to please you, they are trying to get more people to play the game by doing things that don't take 6 people to do. They've already got your money. They want more. It looks like Bungie is trying to do what they have done from the very beginning: Imply they can do things and then see if they can swing it. I got the season pass and that's all I'm paying for. One "season". I'm not paying for the comet if it's just going to string me along til the next chance to make more money off of me. So many good games are on the horizon. I'm not going to stick around and watch this one try to keep me interested with smoke and mirrors. Edit: By the way, I completely agree with your stance on the advertising. While it wasn't promised, it was pretty much -blam!-ing implied that there was going to be a raid included. If they want to save face with their fans, as well as draw new players in alike, giving the raid would be a token of "We know we really shit the bed on this" goodwill. But, this is Activision, so I doubt it will happen.

If people on here jumped in real life half as well as they jumped to conclusions there would never be a worry for Basketball players in real life.
-
-
There won't be a H.O.W raid you dummy's, they are talking about the Comet DLC Raid "later this year -bungie"
-
There won't be a HoW raid. Learn to read.
-
BUMP THE -blam!- OUT OF THIS
-
Next dlc will probably have 2 raids
-
I would be ok for 5$ but I doubt they will charge for standalone raid
-
Completely agree. I won't pay extra for a raid, I'll pass.
-
-
They NEVER told you there would be a raid with HoW.
-
BUMPITY BUMP

Talisin, meet Activision. Activision likes money. More specifically, they like YOUR money. If there is a way of getting more of your money, Activision have thought about it. From the rip off that is map packs a decent dev can throw together in a couple of minutes and charge money that peons ... er ... players, yes players, will pay for to releasing the same thing every year those very same .... players .... keep paying for. Activision likes money. If they think they can get away with charging for a raid then i'd bet my mutant third testicle that they will charge for it.

Bump No way that's happening

Edited by Kreis: 4/14/2015 7:46:00 PMThis has already been made 50 times, just go bump someone elses rather than making another one. This shit is getting really old. They never GUARANTEED you a raid. Read the description of the Season pass. "Subject to change".
-
What a rip off. No raid, bungie are taking the piss. If I knew this is all I would get for the expansion packs I would never of brought it. I trusted bungie because of halo. Bungie are deceitful. I've got so much more to complain about but it's just not worth it. My friends and I are very disappointed. You've lost our loyalty.
