I've had almost every exotic in my 300 hours of play time. I do feel like there should be more opportunity but what people need to realise is that when the next 2 raids are released there will be at least 9 exotic drop points per week excluding xur. [spoiler]Nightfall - weekly heroic - gorgon chest - Atheon - death singer - Crota - new raid bosses x2[/spoiler] And these can be done on three characters so that will make 18 chances for an exotic drop. You can also do two of them on normal and hard that makes it 20 chances. I understand that people may not be as lucky as me but there is plenty to do and soon enough you won't have time to finish everything before the weekly reset. I don't know if the loot system should be changed but maybe it could trade duplicates for another random exotic drop that could be ascendant materials/ strange coins / exotic shards / exotic weapon / motes of light.
