So I've been thinking a lot lately about some Hunter exotic armor that could use some changes. I've been a Hunter since the alpha and beta with currently 16 days played as a Hunter. These are just my opinions for the Hunter exotic armor that could use some changing in my opinion. I've maxed out every Hunter exotic armor to 2.0 except for the Mask, DTM (currently working on), and RDM.
[b][i][u]ATS/8 Arachnid [/u][/i][/b]
Okay with this exotic; it's exotic ability could use a definite change. In my opinion, Arachnid should give us something from out skill tree seeing as Hunters have [b][i][u]0[/u][/i][/b] Exotic pieces that allow us to double dip in our skill tree. Instead, it's ability should be "Over The Horizon" which increases the overall range of Golden Gun. It's currently ability of zooming in for accuracy I find not helpful at all. It's other 2 abilities are fine in my opinion.
[b][i][u]Mask of The Third Man[/u][/i][/b]
No change needed in my opinion.
[b][i][u]Achlyophage Symbiote [/u][/i][/b]
I think this needed changes in its 2 minor abilities. "Fastball" should be given up for "Inverse Shadow" this would make Golden Gun far more helpful in PvE if we get more super energy and our 4th golden gun bullet.
[b][i][u]Knucklehead Radar[/u][/i][/b]
In my opinion the only thing that needs to be changed is to get rid of "Inverse Shadow" as KR is really only good for PVP. I don't know what should go with it but Inverse needs to be swapped

I actually find this to be a good exotic... No change needed
[b][i][u]Young Ahamkara's Spine[/u][/i][/b]
This gauntlet however needs a change to exotic ability. Increasing the time Tripmine grenade doesnt do much in PvE as enemies just don't go near any grenades when thrown. In PVP it's not very useful as unless your oblivious to the the red beam you shouldn't just accidentally walk into it. In my opinion, swap out the increased time and allow us to have 2 tripmines. This would bump this exotic to the near top of the list in my opinion.
[b][i][u]Lucky Raspberry [/u][/i][/b]
This exotic is alright in my opinion but I feel like the change in my head would be better. Rather then making Arcbolt chain more, it should really be more about its namesake. By that I mean it should change to where; in addition to respawning with grenade energy, occasionally you'll spawn with a second grenade. It'll make that exotic have more of a [b]lucky[/b] feel to it.
[b][i][u]Crest of Alpa Lupi [/u][/i][/b]
No change needed. Except, since hand cannons are not everyone's go to weapon like myself, carry more ammo for primary weapons in general.
[b][i][u]Radiant Dance Machines[/u][/i][/b]
The ADS bonus is so negligible. I think the ability should be something like just over character movement and sprint speed. I think that would be more useful then just ads speed. Also, the green glow should change colors while your dancing.

Bullseye wraps (exotic hunter gauntlets) Perk 1: (idk what it's called) Increases melee speed Perk 2: (Light the Blade) Causing damage with a grenade reduces melee cool down Perk 3: (Bullseye) Precision kills with throwing knife immediately resets cool down. Throwing knives have a chance to track their targets

ATS/8 I think but need to test more but it does increase range and damage when aiming. I still need more testing to see this but I need another exotic helm with 36 light and I only have a old herpes 4 shot.

Another upgrade should be added to the radiant dance machines since this only has two instead of the normal 3. This extra perk could be a light weight but with an added boost, maybe adding 5-10 agility

Played a kid in pvp with dance machines .. Trust me if you know how the strafe when you shoot those things will be deadly

Idea for radiant dance machines (really epic!) While sprinting you are able to hip-fire! Obviously has flaws, maybe should only be for short distance or very decreased accuracy, but still better than moving ever so slightly faster ads

People don't seem to realize the ATS/8 Arachnid DOES grant additional range, and a lot at that. It doesn't give the Over The Horizon perk because it already does the same thing and better.

I like this post a lot and I agree with almost everyone of your ideas. However bungie will not listen b/c the community already hates hunters. So unless it's lock or tan they don't care much.

Young Ahamkara's Spine: Remove the flashing red beam, and increase blast/detonation radius. It'd make it more effective in PvE, and for PvP, people would be more likely to set it off. [spoiler]still wouldn't be a top tier exotic, but fun for people who enjoy tripmine[/spoiler]

Infact your GG does do crit damage No there is no yellow numbers but the damage gets doubled (SOMETIMES) i have boticed this most while fighting hive knights.

With the spine, having grenades stay longer, helps prevent me from killing myself with them, but you can use them to keep the enemies from coming at you from certain directions. They're pretty handy in a strategic way once you figure it out. They're also the most powerful grenade that hunters have.
