Error code BASS once an hour!!

I am constantly getting error code bass, about once an hour when it's at its worst. This is getting ridiculous. I am on Xbox One. I don't lose connection to Xbox Live, I don't lose connection to anyone who is chatting with me in my party. No 'Contacting Destiny servers..." banner. Straight up random boots back to orbit. Last night I got booted from the raid RIGHT BEFORE THE END OF THE GATEKEEPERS. Everyone got loot but me. Not a single other person was disconnected, either. Came back and was dead so I didn't even get to participate on Atheon. I have cable internet with great speeds, connected into a Linksys WRT120N router. I have my Xbox set up to have a static IP through my router. It also has all recommended ports forwarded, and is DMZ'd. I am lost here. I also get error code baboon, weasel, and pineapple from time to time as well.

  • Just so everyone who sees this thread is aware, I bought a new router last weekend and have not been disconnected once since then. Sure, that shouldn't be the solution, but I needed a new router anyway and from what I could infer, it was most likely my problem.

  • Hi GruesomeCube, I'm very sorry about the repeated errors you are seeing. Bungie is actively investigating reports like yours and I can recommend a few things. First, consider disabling port forwarding and instead consider UPnP. Port forwarding is a very delicate procedure that, in many cases, makes things worse. Further, it is specifically for BEAVER/FLATWORM/LEOPARD errors and can make things worse in other situations. If you want our best recommendations, check here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11931 Finally, we do recognize our suggestions are not a magic bullet to fix everything. Instead, we are continuing to investigate and as soon as more information becomes available it will be shared.
