Edited by Un1337ninj4: 10/24/2014 7:10:01 PMSolar Damage vs Wizards (possibly among other things...), if we do indeed get a subclass focused on CC that's going to be very useful as well. "Reign" was strong, however the Hunter class will not be left-out for certain.

-my titan has Visions, which provides more constant solar damage than 3 golden gun shots and a grenade without having to waste a super -strikers can take out a massive mobs that would destroy a hunter at close range -defenders can pop a support shield that can also blinds enemies inside (with right helm), which buffs teammates and allows them to recharge health/shield without risk of death -sunsingers have a more useful super (like 7 grenades depending on build and self-revive) to take out solar shields Hunters will still be glass cannons that could be replaced by other classes for no penalty

Edited by Un1337ninj4: 10/25/2014 12:36:58 AMMy hunter can just as equally equip Vision, with the added Solar grenades, Throwin' pointy bits that can be paired with the Solar DoT effect if necessary (even if unlikely, in which case there will likely be more than enough Acolytes to keep the Daggers thrown (which typically, a hit happens as frequently as a Timur's Lash without having to worry about reloads with a little skill). Striker's Storm Fist is much less likely to instantly regress for maximum fistin' and the Hive Boomers are surprisingly adamant when it comes to target suppression (I'd almost pair them up with the Hobgoblins if I knew the layout of the Vault to come), this immediately puts the Striker in a sore spot if it weren't for his trusty Flashbang. Yes, however the Hunter's super can deal great damage to high priority targets (AKA Wizards.) And have the highest per-target damage super. Defenders may have the bubble, but in end-game CC and personal buffs are always (and will always be) powerful. Sunsingers will be very, very useful. Especially given their innate Solar damage and self-rez. That said I don't expect to see hardly anyone running Striker or Voidwalker during this run, unless they're just that much in-love with the class to beget the advantages.

You'd be surprised.

Edited by Un1337ninj4: 10/26/2014 8:29:28 AMNot really, the end-all of any strategic discussion is the fact there's always an exception to the rule. If they can pull it off then why not? (AKA main post about (an incapable) Hunter trying to go into the VoG based solely on being one (Despite obvious level reasons).)
