This method is not entitled "A tip to get better loot from atheon". This is getting better shit from the RAID. I do not kill atheon over and over. I do the whole thing. You get ships and energies from atheon for not reading people's full posts, edits, and having bad karma brought on by said actions. Step it up bro

One thing to notice, I don't go against doing it directly on hard, I actualy run it on hard when only if our group is good enough, simple to save few hours of my time. By the end I still don't have pants, gloves or chest from raid, hard or not.

I understand your frustration. My method is simply to give you a better CHANCE or PROBABILITY of getting desired items. RNG will -blam!- you if it wants to that's the bottom line. I can only provide assistance via knowledge to give you a slight edge. It's just better to run hard mode only if that is plausible for you. Having a better loot pool to draw from twice is better than having one draw from it. That's just common sense. The rest like I said, is up to the RNG.

Atheon is the biggest loot table from the raid, you have much more chance to get something that is not shard or energy from him than from all the VoG, still, he does drop a lot of shards and energies for many of us. It doesnt matter if you do normal then hard or go directly to level 30, RNG is RNG. As I said, I got shards 6 out of 9 kills, I could have killed him normal then hard, 18 times, and get the same. RNG is stupid.
