Item Sharing
So I was thinking that you guys (Bungie) should make a feature were you'll be able to share or trade armor, equipment, consumables, etc. But in order to make this work the other player has to join you fireteam in order to share or trade items.
can you make this happen...? PLEASE.

1 ReplyIF they were to make gear tradeable then it should only be with those that were on the run where you were awarded the item (so only end-of-mission items) and only for a short time. Much like how WoW handles trading BoP items from a raid. And this is only assuming that there aren't other factors that affect drops (such as kills, assists, etc).

Someone will find a way to cheat the system. But Its not a bad idea to trade with someone who you play with for a very long time. They should add a fireteam reward system where they let you trade and item that drops with someone whos been in your fireteam for a long time. This seems like a good reward system to keep fireteams together.

1 ReplyFor certain items I'd be cool with trading, however for Blue, Purple and Gold items/gear/guns, then no thanks for obvious reasons. I also don't see much point in creating a trade system just to enable the exchange of low-level items that no-one's really going to care about at level 20. All it really does it create a sort of player economy, which then attracts gold sellers to exploit that market. There are times where say, you're running Strikes to get a green Sniper Rifle, but it never drops. Whereas your friend has gotten 3 of them during your session. I can see how trading would be cool for that but I think maybe it'd make more sense if you could go to an NPC to exchange like 3 weapons you don't want for 1 weapon you do want (of the same rarity).
