Fallout TV Series

2 RepliesI’ve considered watching it, but I’ve never played the Fallout series. Yeah yeah, I know. I understand what the universe is, just never got into it. Will it make sense to me or will I be confused?

The Fallout TV show is amazing (in my opinion). They nailed the Fallout feel with the sets and characters. Comedy mixed with gore. I love it. I hope this series has many seasons to come. Although I'm not a big fan of the Halo show, I enjoyed aspects from it. Various weapons in use, the combat sequences. I agree the show is lack luster regarding fan service, but it's one of those shows where you have to disconnect from the games themselves and take it in. I'm saying this as a day 1 Halo fan of the games and books. It's not for me and that's fine (cries) lol. I hope Halo gets a proper game release after Infinite to actually tell the lore of Zeta Halo. Zeta Halo deserves so much story telling and they just left it.

It’s a series that proves when a game studio is still cohesive and passionate about their game you can make a great show which remains true to its lore.

7 RepliesIs it actually good though or is it just better than most adaptations? My friend described it as a reskinned Marvel series. ie: not terrible but kinda soulless with dumb one-liners all over the place.

There have been other great game adaptations in the last years. Castlevania, Mario, honestly even the sonic movies are just fine. And don’t forget last of us. Halo is terrible for sure but that’s not been the norm recently

5 RepliesActing like this is the first good adaptation at this point is just silly. We already had the Sonic & Mario movies. I didn’t watch it personally, but I hear The Last of Us fans liked that one, too. Like, is this just gonna be a joke that makes no sense as time goes on? Are we always gonna act like every god adaptation is the first one, even when good adaptations become the norm?
