Acting like this is the first good adaptation at this point is just silly.
We already had the Sonic & Mario movies. I didn’t watch it personally, but I hear The Last of Us fans liked that one, too. Like, is this just gonna be a joke that makes no sense as time goes on? Are we always gonna act like every god adaptation is the first one, even when good adaptations become the norm?

Even if they weren’t your thing, you can’t really call them bad adaptations. Though given what I know about you, you seem like one of those people who only likes “mature” media, and probably dismisses everything else, so frankly I’m not surprised at your response.

Edited by Twitchyloner: 4/21/2024 9:29:59 AMI just think some Video Games don't really suit any movie/TV platforms really.. like, it may be okay.. but just doesn't feel right.

While I can maybe agree with that, Mario & Sonic definitely don’t fall into that category. Nothing about the games makes them “not belong” in TV/movies.

I liked the recent Mario movie. Now, the Bob Hoskins/John Leguizamo movie, on the other hand........😬
