I am not a fan of the whole being branded anyway, so things like vanguard and the factions are unappealing. Seriously I don't like looking like I am sponsored, leave that to NASCAR and all that. I understand their love for graphic art and this games embracing of it, and that being the point of factions, but I really don't like it. I wish they would focus more on armor with ornaments that are obtained by achieving certain milestones while wearing/using it or something. That way you can further see what people went through to look the way they do, as they mentioned way back when. Like killing x amount of hive whatever puts some sort of hive crap on it and it represents that milestone appropriately. Same goes for weapons, and if it is faction armor maybe extrapolate it from its base look to be more unique. You have to earn that look if you want it.
