If it is then expect no 60fps on consoles and less PvP. If they're looking to capitalize on it's Twitch success then I'd expect a more linear PvE with better story and an even more competitive and balanced PvP system. They learned micro transactions can be successful as well and I can see that being heavy influence.

    A lot of cry babies want 60fps at 1080 because some game are but only have 6hrs of actual content. Given the open world games for 2017 Destiny 2 will have a lot to live up to if they attempt to match it. A new engine is great but what they focus on is another story. No sense it getting hyped when there's been nothing official about content or gameplay. Mass Effect Andromeda had gameplay trailers over a year before game was released. We've gotten nothing for D2 and this game releases this year? That should tell you something.

  • It leaves a lot up to speculation. We haven't fought the Cabal yet. Maybe they waged war on the city and we need to defend it? That would be an awesome mode/public event.
