Before Destiny Launched people were hoping for Borderlands. What i wanted was the game they kept talking about. At launch Destiny was not that game. Shell game that hopefully will not be repeated but it has hurt DLC's and my image of bungie as a trustworthy company that has its product done.
I don't want a meal that costs more for the same hamburger i could get at fast food restaurant. You can market it and make it any way you want but if you want to be unique you need to think outside the box.
I still refuse to spend one penny on Destiny. I am not going to tell you what to buy or who to listen to but it comes down to moving forward. Unless that happens then sadly it will be more of the same.
If they allowed you to craft things and trade i could consider destiny but until that time nope for me. Also i take into account they lied last time but that would be an endless argument with people who can't read or can't ask questions on how i know this.
So when it comes down to it i rather not eat a hamburger that i could get any place whole and not have to buy its parts no matter how you dress it up. One thing i hate more than anything is people selling a lie.

Edited by Dankster: 3/27/2017 7:33:06 PMI do agree that Destiny as lacked severely and does need to improve. I've played since the beta and I feel like story missions in this game should be more like strikes, strikes more like raids, and raids something even better. (especially if your only releasing one). Other then that I think you have some good points. Although just as a observation u are very arrogant. Other then that you seem cool. Edit: if I might add the grimoir often describes enemies as world destroying and and describes these personal and epic battles. I have yet to face one of these. The raid bosses are hardly what i would consider "gods".

Edited by Black_Widow503: 3/27/2017 8:26:42 PMJust wondering do you personally know this person? Are you judging that he is arrogant based on this one comment? Or based on many? Even if it was "many" sometimes it can be hard to tell a person's true intentions or motivations by just reading comments on a forum. It can be hard to convey in words, a person's character, moral responsibility, or personal being, over the internet. That is, of course, MY observation and I have found people are way too quick to judge others over the internet. Too quick in judging others rather than being able to look directly into someone's eyes and being able to see their truths for what they really are. Where they can't hide behind an illusion. Hide behind an artificial computer screen.

As you can see it was simply an observation based on this post and how he responded to others. Simply put it wasn't an offense. Especially considering he seems pretty (as I said) and frankly he seems (based on what I've read) to be the kind of guy I would enjoy talking to. Simple as that

-says they won't spend a penny -wastes time on b.net forums explaining that they won't spend penny -time is money

That's why i write story's for fun. Time well spent and some people actually read them or some members do. If i am lucky its a follower or friend here i made for a long time. Time=Doing things you like and if you get money for doing it. pretty cool. If not then time well spent. Making friends or doing interesting things is time well spent. You do realize i been writing a story since yesterday on OFF Topic. I am all over the place. Common sense seems not to be a hater prerequisite.

If it wanted to bitch i could bring up old posts from 3 years ago doing just that. So get your facts straight stop arguing about what you don't know sonny. So my time is valuable so i don't waste it on kids like you.

Yeah like cry on the internet for a place to talk about a game that you don't play anymore
-
Borderlands has absolutely no competitive multiplayer or any inclination for it. The hamburger comparison ends there

Edited by Commander Tempu: 3/27/2017 3:46:17 PMAh but you see people were expecting Halo storyline with i guess more to it? Borderlands is its own game and i guess what i am saying is Destiny is lacking. Then it should be an all multiplayer game like TitanFall instead of adding story elements. Destiny is suffering the same as Halo 5 did. Too much multiplayer and not enough story content. Destiny is trying to be world of Warcraft with guns but you cannot craft or do half of the things you could in a normal RPG. I rather play Mass Effect or Ghost Recon or Medal of Honor Airborne Assault or Fallout actually i would play all Four but no way is Destiny going to come close to Fallout. You are talking hamburgers i am talking Big Macs or the Whopper. Thing is They are only able to fit so much into the game and the DLC is a grasp at straws due to there lack of preparation. Bad Chefs do not have things prepared and ready to go when they open a new restaurant end up struggling to keep up. Also if you are struggling with keeping up you might need new skills hire the right staff or change the meal its self.

Edited by High8ctane: 3/27/2017 6:35:55 PMWell is the point of the game to shoot bad guys or have awesome crafting? And to me an FPS without PvP isn't really what the genre is about - its been there since the beginning. Destiny has more AI and human bad guys to shoot at than any other FPS by a large margin. While the story is told through a horrendous Grimoire system its still awesome, the tone is fantastic and the setting of this IP couldn't be more perfect. While I'd love gun crafting, there's more than enough optimization offered at the moment and the RNG is friendlier than ever. While it might happen someday, farming Spirit Bloom for a crafting recipe will always come second place to more Strikes, Crucible maps, and Raids.

Just curious, didn't the guy who wrote everything for Destiny, i.e. Grimoire, leave in the beginning? There are different people running Destiny now or has been from the beginning. They basically used another person's art and the guy decided to leave for whatever reasons but they still used his story and contributions. The story and lore is probably great, but it wasn't necessarily Bungie's story because the guy left I thought?

Trade I would love too, but crafting? DestinyCraft? Haha, just kidding. Yeah, I would love to build W.M.D.s and take them into crucible
