Iron banner ship drop rate
So another Iron Banner and all 3 characters to level 5 but still no IB ships - come on Bungie this is getting a little ridiculous. Consistently get all 3 characters to IB level 5 but RNGesus either hates me or something is wrong. I don't think it is glitched as most of my clan have at least one if not both of the ships. Just seems that the drop rate for me on these ships is crazy low! No more Iron Banners until Rise of Iron is released so may never be.
Set myself a stupid quest to complete all the emblem, shader and ship collections given lack of new content (little did I know how frustrating it would be). Still need 9 ships to complete the collection excluding a couple that I can buy (1 x Dead Orbit, 1 x NM, 1 x Trials, 2 x IB, 3 x crucible (blue and green ones that never drop) and 1 Vanguard (Fatal Vision)).
Does anyone know if these are glitched?

I've ranked all 3 classes up to 5 in nearly every IB since HoW, and only got a Birth of History about 3-4 IB's ago. Only seen 1 Thoughtcrime drop, to a clannmate who rarely does PvP outside of IB. Made me a little salty but it was pretty cool nonetheless. Anyway, I've heard they only really drop if you play after you hit rank 5 on that character, which I rarely have much time to do.. But, who knows, that may just be another urban legend. I'm fine with it though, it's just cosmetic. The whole Gally thing sucked because it became a barrier for some people to get into endgame activities through no fault of their own. This is [i]completely[/i] different. Bungie has buffed loot drops so much it's way too easy to get everything now. IMO there should be at least a few items in this game (mostly cosmetic) that are [i]really[/i] rare. Getting everything handed to you gets boring really quick. Other than the first few times you clear a raid, there's not much that beats that awesome feeling you get when something really rare or cool drops. Taking that away just to satisfy some collectors OCD would be really lame.

Play IB after rank 5 and its low but it will drop eventually.. But it drops after a match more than packages if it in those at all..

Dude good luck. My combined crucible rank is 221 and I only just got Sidereal Rumba. Ships like the IB ship or the most desirable faction ships are pretty fcukn hard to get. Been looking for the NM Comitatus and at about a combined rank of 125, yep you guessed it no ship. Rng kind of sucks but will get better with RoI. We can pick weapon or armor rewards but not sure about the ships though.

I ranked up my 3 characters to 5 by Friday and played 3 1/2 additional days. Lots of 335 ghosts but just one ship. Not looking for ships but I guess I should be since my Titan ship looks like a giant dildo with rectangular ballz. Not stylin

I dunno if it's drop rate is low, as most of everyone I know who does some Vanguard related things have one (myself included). The IB ships seem to rarely drop. Thoughtcrime I've only seen drop twice since it was a thing (one for me early on and one for a blueberry two banners ago). Dunno if it's either majorly bugged like Comitatus, or just that crazy low of a drop If it makes you feel any better, I haven't gotten the Bane of Dark Gods from hard Crota. Just doesn't want to be in my loot table. I have been majorly wondering about them crucible ships though....

Pretty sure the drop rate is horrid. Been getting to Iron Banner rank 5 on my titan each time, then played matches just to get some infusion fuel, but haven't gotten one to drop for the past year and have only seen two maybe three drop for others.

I got mine at rank 3 the first iron banner after taken King launched. I've only seen two others drop and that was before the April update

I still haven't gotten an IB ship and I'm a day one player but that said, I hope Bngie doesn't change the drop rate. Keeping these things rare is what makes them so sought after. Yea I want one but when I finally get one I don't want to see that everyone else has it too.

Played IB nonstop for 6 hours yesterday, didn't see a single ship drop

Both of the ships are among the rarest ships in the game due to the extreme rely low drop rate. I received the year 1 IB ship and freaked out when I did. I personally don't know the drop rate however it's one of the lowest in the game.

So I've only been around for 4 IB and the first 2 my friend got 1 of the ships. The 3rd I played I ended up getting both ships within a couple hours. This one I've got 2 of my characters 2 lvl 5 and the other to almost 4 and I've seen one ship.
