Why Do ALL Of My Primary Weapons Do Less Damage Then The Enemy's Primary Weapons?
Even when i start shooting earlier, i loose the gunfight with primary weapon. I loose from any primary.
It's like the enemy has much better armor then me.......
Or i'm shooting with low caliber bullets and the enemy shoots with special bullets from Xur.
I'm not a bad player at all. I'm even better then an average player.
But in Destiny the only damage i can do is with sniper. There was a primary weapon once, which i could do damage with: Thorn.
Is it LAG?
Is it DELAY?
Is it just bugging Destiny?
Is it crappy matchmaking?
Is it too many different connections in one match?
Is it too many regions playing with each other?
I know one thing: IT'S NOT ME!!!!!!!!

1 ReplyP2P connections. It's hit or miss. The average joe, with high quality Internet, has the disadvantage. Seriously watch some of the top streamers, their aim isn't superior, their weapons don't do more damage. But they play extremely passive, and they don't get 2 tapped from mida haha

1 ReplyMy grim citizen does like 25 to the head. What does yours do? If it's 25 then obviously you do not do less damage than other players. So you're left with two options. They've actually started shooting you early and you didn't notice because of lag. Or you're not hitting all head shots. This isn't Call of Duty. Good players in this game hit nothing but headshots and you will lose gunfights quickly if you don't keep up. And if you can hit Snipes.. Can it really be lag?

3 RepliesI agree with most people here, perhaps you just aren't getting the shots off or using weak guns, however I would like to say connection in destiny has gotten significantly worse lately, it's drove me away from it which is disappointing considering I love this game to pieces besides its faults. When you get constant laggy games, hit detection failing big time it gets harder to play this game, but that's from my experience, I'm not a bad player either.

1 ReplyAll above, nicely listed. If you want to keep playing online multiplayer game, this one or any other, you have to keep all those things in your mind in order to succeed.

4 RepliesYou need to run the meta, sad to say but it's the truth. High RoF auto's and PR's or scouts for ranged players are the current meta. If you are running anything else then you risk being outgunned. So Malok, Hawksaw and Suros PDX-45 are the most popular guns in PvP right now. You also need to stay on head shots as these weapons have some pretty fast TTK's. Mida is still pretty solid but you will need to play ranged, not my scout of choice but a solid weapon. Any high RoF auto will do that has the same stats as Monte Carlo will also do well, not as good as those PR's but still a solid choice.

depends on the perks you have versus the perks they have, the chance of outgunning a hawkmoon is laughable, first curse is a pain to counter but a smooth ride while using it, change your plays style a bit and work around that way

Other than that I cant really help you. If using a sniper is what it takes tor you to be effective then stick to it. Thorn is coming back so I'm going to hate crucible even more because bungie doesn't know how to balance a game. Even in the state thorn is in right now its going to be used for trolling which is what everyone is going to use.

Lag and shooting time. When two players with the same weapon and perks fire to each other the winner is the one that started to shoot first. So if you or your opponent has a big lag thus means that you could see him delayed this is pointless when we tlalk about micro secs but the red bars constantly delays the info much more so when you locate an enemy and point him the lag gived him enought time to shoot you even before you notice so youll see 2 bullets and die but in fact you got 3 or 4 shots. Also the perks could give you more balance and impact wich means more acurated shots and more damage. That of course if you have skills to play.

In my experience bro... when I feel much of what you ask about, its generally my poor skills . There is no dispute that the game has glitches, lags every now and then and has broken matchmaking. When there is lag and my aim is true, the hit registers but is delayed and I die anyhow....chances are the killing shot was already fired by my opponent but simply registered late due to lag.

More headshots, More accuracy, higher impact, faster rate of fire, or mida multi-tool.
