I am generally enjoy Gunslinger but after the tripmine nerf I haven't touched them apart from now incendiary nades are good again. I enjoy blade dance but i feel like I miss something on it. Any advice on which subclass?
-
Gunslinger is good for area control in Mayhem game modes
-
I get kills all the time still with trip mines.
-
Nightstalker is a pve class. I find it funny when hunters use the bow in pvp. They think that the tether really helps in pvp.
-
Nightstalker if you're good with is beyond lethal.
-
Wow. Kids are dismissing GG because trip mines no longer stick. Lol!
-
Gunslinger for sure Incendiary grenades, chain of Woe, gunslingers trance. Better control setting for jumps. And Hand cannons bro.. Hand cannons With chain of woe and some HC reload gloves, and the DPS is real. I can pretty easily hold my own against just about any enemy in any situation. Throw in a good sniper for heavy damage or if you're squirrely like me use a shotgun and get in close. Gunslinger is still a boss in PvE..
-
Bladedancer is so garbage other than QuickDraw lmao. Skip nades are decent I guess.... Garbage super, pretty bad jump, garbage melee, decent grenades, garbage stats (Armor, Recovery, Agility)....
-
Still maining gunslinger and it's still very effective. Tripmines are still good at blocking off paths. If you throw one at someone it hits them and activates. Won't kill if they are full armor and health but won't take much to finish them off.
-
I know what you mean with the tripmines! That was one of my favorite things about the Gunslinger...and now trips don't stick? Pfft...off to Bladedancer. Rip my poor Gunslinger.
-
Not sure which is best but i try to keep switching between the 3. I do lean toward bladedancer though
-
For gunskill either gunslinger or bladedancer for gunslinger trance or quickdraw respectively for abilities night stalker for the smoke nade tether. Depends on how you play.
-
I love gunslinger, though for team play night stalker is really cool. Especially for control. Nothing like tethering 3 opponents and watching your team blast them to pieces!
-
There.is a problem when BD is the most op hunter class
-
Hunter's died and titans getting a dlc. Wtf happened Bungie?

Edited by Heidegger: 8/3/2016 5:27:30 PMQuickDraw for sniping Fleetfooted for Shotgunning Stalker for being an invisible douchebag Edit: I voted Bladedancer
-
Bladedancer is life
-
I really can't say. It depends on your play style. Personally, I like Nightstalker. They work best with a defensive play style, which suits me well (and tends to piss people off).
-
Nightstalker. I like shadestep Shotgun.
-
Gunslinger. I don't get why people are complaining about tripmines still. There is absolutely NOTHING different about them and I main a Hunter-Gunslinger for CRUCIBLE. My main for PvE is a Warlock. But anyway, people don't check their surroundings. Stick them on walls and they are just as effective.
Bungie is stupid because they don't test their nerfs and buffs in Crucible. They didn't correctly fix the tripmine stick. If you throw a tripmine at a guardian, they are counted as a surface. It won't stick but as soon as it hits the ground it'll blow up, still dealing damage.
There's nothing wrong with tripmines. To not use them is just dumb. The other solar grenades are irrelevant.

The one with quickdraw.
-
Are talking 3vs3 or 6vs6?
-
I am going to say Gunslinger now. But as for me, i get more satisfaction using my quivered shadow shot. So I run that instead. Its about the fun, and not my KD.

In terms of easy kills, Gunslinger. In terms of which has the best team-wiping abilities (and is the most fun), Bladedancer.
