Nightstalker is a pve class. I find it funny when hunters use the bow in pvp. They think that the tether really helps in pvp.

  • I've gotten a triple by literally not doing anything. I had a shadowshot, and then I used my voidwall grenade. I didn't even look at the people I killed, I just killed them. It is helpful, but it's not even the reason that people use the subclass. People use it for the Wombo Combo, essentially throwing 2 grenades at once to take people out as quickly as using a heavy machine gun, not to mention that the smoke slows the enemy down and makes it extremely hard for them to escape.

  • Yeah the bow is garbage but I like to be a filthy whore and abuse Shadestep. I just use the super as a panic thing.

  • The bow sucks as a super but when it comes to trials night stalker is king. Most of the time, your probably only going to get 1 kill with your super if the other team is smart. Wombo Combo and shade step make it excellent for evasion and funneling opponents to where you want them to go. Those 2 options can also be used much more than supers so it just brings out overall better play.

  • I main a Hunter my strategy is to flank alone works well against snipers drop a tether from behind and my team advances on the enemy team. Typically I'm the guy that challenges snipers, forces them to move or I flank hard to force a crossfire

  • what about when a nightstalker goes kephri's sting, then flashes a vanish in smoke 6.5 seconds later, to flank your entire trials team while you are too busy sniping the rest of their team and kill you all within 3 seconds?

  • Hey im honestly curious. When you mention kephri sting and smoke, is that just for the crouching effect or is there a combination with the smoke that has an added benefit. I'm asking because when I used that arm piece before I didn't notice a lingering effect from melee and just infused because I was tired of messing with them. I never saw a melee cause lingering damage. If you could help me out that would be awesome :) thank you :)

  • You must be invisible for the melee to deal lingering damage, and it's damage is multiplied by 4 as well if the target is attacked from behind. A melee attack from behind can 1 hit any and every mobile super in the game, including a radiant skin sunsinger. The crouching effect is just for the extra 7 seconds of invisibility, but vanish in smoke with lock-down effectively doubles that. And because basic cooldown times, if you have two hunters (or one hunter with felwinters memory on when RoI releases), they can effectively be invisible indefinitely. Kephri's Sting, when used properly by the right person in the right load-out, is unarguably the most powerful exotic armor in the game.

The tether is mostly only useful to shut down Blade dancer, storm caller, and Sunbreaker with its suppress. Other that that it is only good in rift to keep opponents from escaping with the spark
