Think Nightfall but with random modifiers each strike. Better rewards. Broken Heart Buff is still active when you're partner goes down.
Maybe another modifier is tossed on each consecutive Strike.
Rose petal percision kill explosions? A romanticized version of a grunt birthday party.
This would have given the PvE players something as well

Well you can already two man nightfall and if ppl didn't ask for strike match making. You can still solo it or do it with two ppl

We had this and then the community biatched and moaned it away. Matchmaking for the loss.

I think crimson doubles would have been fun in the prison. They could have made a playlist just for that. But destiny is moving away from pve and towards Pvp. Cause you know Pvp doesn't have a lot going for it what with the iron banner and the trials of Osiris.... I wish there had been some kind of pve Valentine's event as well I don't feel like playing the doubles cause it's just a big snipe fest that isn't even enjoyable. Now the prison, that was a lot of fun!

Hey Bungie ... why not send this Guardian some of the money you get from Crimson Days emotes ... because in one little post he created the potential for more INTERESTING CONTENT than you have for this whole bloody event?!

Way to use your thinky meats.

Edited by Niko1178: 2/11/2016 7:30:48 AMJust leave the strikes 3 player and make it a three-some. Or make them six player strikes and call them the mormon missions.

Too bad Bungie only cares about PvP.

I would prefer a one player challenge mode similar to a nightfall but with puzzles and mechanics that make it challenging like the prison.

This is honestly what could have been done, should have been done... It would've at least warmed everyone's hearts a little bit, too. "Look, Bungo actually put in some PvE because we asked... and a Nightfall reward to boot." I don't see why they don't just pull the old Prison of Elders trick and give a guaranteed Exotic for something. Apparently the 'unknown reward' for Crimson Days is a Fall 2015 Emote. So I'm honestly just kind of disengaged from Destiny after bothering with Crimson Days at all. Plus, I am out of Strange Coins/Three of Coins, and I still haven't gotten Twilight Garrison. As a Titan main, I find this disgusting. Especially considering I never got The Ram Year 1. I've been cheated out of so many good Exotics (at least I had Gjallarhorn though,) that at this point, the game just frustrates me with all the negative reminders I get by loading the main screen alone.

Edited by ConZor: 2/11/2016 3:19:39 PMI'm pretty surprised nobody at Bungie thought of this - unless they did and decided it was a bad idea. Sounds like it'd be pretty easy to implement too, as all the modifiers and Heroic strike playlist already exist, and they were developing the buff for Crimson Doubles anyway. I'd suggest maybe 260 would be fine for difficulty, given you're a man down and it's not designed to be endgame. Plus let's face it, both Crimson Doubles and SRL drop 320 gear and neither require any light at all. It could've been a good thing. Wouldn't have been a miracle cure for the PvE drought, but it would've made a decent distraction for a week or so. EDIT: I might also suggest a revive timer. Maybe not a full 30 seconds like the Nightfall, but 10 or 15. Give you a chance to make use of that Broken Heart buff.
