I enjoy the Crucible. I've always enjoyed it. It's only been since TTK dropped that I started playing it just for fun. But a month or two into the release, I had pretty much caught on to SBMM. For months on end, I never once saw a grimoire below 4000, and 75% of my opponents used TLW and a sniper rifle (I am guilty of this loadout).
The needle has allegedly been pushed towards more connection and less skill-range, but I honestly can't detect much of a difference. And frankly, it's ridiculous. Matchmaking takes ages to find people to pair me with, and it's to the point where I recognize names in Skirmish. I'm at the end of my tether.
Since the Crucible is basically all that Destiny has to offer me, I'm forced to restrict my time on it. I enjoy sweating every few matches or so, but I shouldn't be forced to do it every match.
Also, as a parting thought, some people have asserted that SBMM is good because it keeps people like me from ravaging lower level players. Well, you aren't safe. In fact, SBMM allows me to specifically target you. I'm a Sherpa, and it's not difficult for me to find a low-level player to bring me into PvP. Matchmaking does its job and tosses our allegedly "weaker" team into a weak lobby. I pull down 30-40 kills. So, SBMM doesn't protect you.

I'm bumping this.
-
Too much talk in here about how YOU are the one to pick on scrubs when your K/D is average at best. Please hush!
-
Crucible is about the only thing left to do for anyone and it is in a laughable state. Only will get worse as people wake up and stop playing. Less people to matchmake with. What is utterly sad is I can join a CoD old title Ghosts and find a stable online match with probably 1 thousandth less (if not more) of a player pool to matchmake with. And that game is one generation prior to Destiny.
-
It's not matchmaking. There's not as many players anymore, and Crucible is sweaty almost non-stop as a result, since it's mainly just hardcore players.
-
Why didn't I think of that Team up with a level 12 Finally win a game I really miss winning, for some reason SBMm thinks I'm better than I am, constantly facing people better than me
-
Go Fk yourself. Why not join a special friend and enter the special Olympics and bring home the gold! You are a coward. People like you that hate SBMM because they have a worthy challenge are cowards.
-
How about all of you just deal with it? You're not gonna do good every game regardless your skill... There is always someone better than you
-
It's not SBMM "I'm recognizing names in Skirmish" The problem you are experiencing, is a low player count. This happens when a game fails to keep it's audience with playable content. If you want faster pvp? Play a newer game, Destiny is from 2014

Bump.

Yup, Bungie is lying again about sbmm, they are some pieces of shits I swear,
