Shotgun point blank
So ya nerfed shotguns to the point that a high impact shotgun blast point blank to the face of an opponent does no damage...
I don't freaked get it...

1 ReplyShotguns only do their damage up to the end of their normal range. And that has been reduced to melee range, which is about 5 feet. Outside of that, the lead shot pellets are magically transformed into tiny marshmallows which do no damage apart from the sting of being hit by a couple thousand marshmallows.

I order to do damage you need to insert shot gun into guardians mouth now.

That's current shotguns, the nerf is much worse.

Since headshots are not crit with a shotty and since the hitbox is smaller headshots are not reliable one shot kills. Body shot is the way to go because reliability is based on spread vs hitbox. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/175670506/0/0

9 RepliesI hit a precision shot point blank with a slug with my chaperone and didn't kill a Titan with it (he wasn't using a super and had no over shield) I'm pretty confused about that.

Bungie could lie and say that they were going to nerf a weapon and people would still think they noticed a change even though it wasn't there. Some people get the 'nocebo' effect when they believe a nerf has already been implemented even though it hasn't. Connection quality is a big issue; it causes people to survive things that they shouldn't (at least on our screens). Since dedicated servers will probably not be introduced into the game, Crucible matchmaking need to prioritise ping.

You're absolutely right dude. But you know what's going to be hilarious even after this shotgun nerf the kids are still going to complain. This time it'll be the shotgun melee combo so overpowered it needs to be nerfed now lol WTF I can't stand those shotgun melee scrubs LLS
