The weapon update is in December. Bungie could lie and say that they were going to nerf a weapon and people would still think they noticed a change even though it wasn't there. Some people get the 'nocebo' effect when they believe a nerf has already been implemented even though it hasn't. Connection quality is a big issue; it causes people to survive things that they shouldn't (at least on our screens). Since dedicated servers will probably not be introduced into the game, Crucible matchmaking need to prioritise ping.
