So according to IGN the UK is experiencing issues with pre orders, people are stopping preordering games and waiting for price drops, this is happening across most of Europe but the UK has been hit the hardest,
Personally I think this is a great move and hopefully publishers will notice that we want a better core game without having to pay for the content locked away in the disc.

This is amazing news. My only current preorder is MGS5, but I'm such a fan boy it was bound to happen. I used to be a preorder everything kind of guy too.
-
I haven't preordered anything since Destiny. The only reason is that I've been having so much fun playing Destiny and, until recently, haven't wanted to play other games. The last few months have seen me pick up preowned copies of Dragon Age and now Borderlands which I have been playing alongside Destiny. So I would like to thank Bungie for providing me with real, value for money, entertainment and saving me money on games I might otherwise have bought for full price at launch.

Once the industry realizes that they cannot get away with crappy releases they will stop pushing out broken products. BF4 and Destiny were my two latest disappointments. No more preorders for me.
-
I suppose,in a round about way, destiny has helped with that. One thing it has done right. Once bitten twice shy.

Edited by Wobbly Wombat: 4/26/2015 8:58:16 AMIt's not so much that us Brits are waiting for price drops, it's because we want to see what we're getting first. It's what my wife calls Destiny Syndrome; too much hype, too little content and a broken game from the start. Enough is enough...

If that's the truth thank god.

Someone needs to make a gif with a scene Scooby doo with the bad guy having the ea symbol put over his head saying and I would of got away with it too if it weren't for the meddling UK

Edited by MightyJonE: 4/24/2015 4:07:48 PMIt's not just the UK. But what do you expect after all the broken games late last year, rip-off DLC added to bare-bones content, and the dearth of day-one patches? The industry only has its greedy self to blame

Witcher 3 is on sale now and it's not out. Pre order price drop.
-
This is good news indeed, let's hope it's worldwide and publishers and developers start to listen to us.

Good news for gaming

This needs to happen in the U.S
