That "Replacement Raid" coming "Later this Year" - Free or New DLC?
Frankly, I am a bit disappointed with HoW not having a new Raid. Raids are the only thing that might get me back into Destiny - and I do recall promotional material for HoW Advertising a NEW RAID, so... yeah.
Anyway, they said there will be a new Raid "later this year" (vague, much?), and I am wondering if it will be:
Free for everyone?
Free for Season Pass Owners?
Free for HoW Owners (as it would count as the HoW "Replacement Raid")?
Paid DLC?
As an owner of the Expansion Pass (and very underwhelmed by its contents so far), I'd like to know if I will (ever) get my money's worth out of the Expansion Pass? I got my money's worth from the game, sure, but the content of the Expansion, so far, I don't feel like it, especially now, seeing as there will be no new Raid.
Similarly, people considering to buy HoW might be interested to know if they might get another Raid.
Or will Bungie, in an uncharacteristic move for Destiny, release a new Raid for free? While I would love for people to get stuff for free, that might make me feel just a tiny bit annoyed at having paid for the season pass in the first place.
Thoughts? Answers?

16 RepliesIf anyone has been playing this game since launch, then they would remember that VoG did not drop with the full Destiny game. We got it a week after the release. Even with that time taken to work normal mode, VoG had it's fair share of issues. They even stated in the announcement they were humbled by the experience. What's to say that they are simply taking apart the raid they had planned because it seemed to similar to what we have already seen? Now just because Bungie states that a raid will not be released with HoW and there will be one later this year (read later not end of ), does not mean we will have to pay for it. Bungie has done no microtransactions in the game thus far. Why would they start now? Just be patient people. They've delivered on almost every major request that the community has had in the 8 months the game has been out. I for one still have faith in Bungie. We know this release will make or break the game for a lot of people. So just wait.
