Exotic Bounty Missives
Let me get right to it: I'm getting screwed with the Exotic Bounty Missives.
I know what you're thinking: "wait a bit, it's chance based!" But no, I've already completed the first set (Thorn, Bad Juju, and Invective) yet upon receiving my fourth and even FIFTH missives received the same quests for those exotics -- without even the option for the Super Good Advice or Pocket Infinity quests. Even when I did get the fifth one (just received this afternoon) I only got offered the chance to accept either the Thorn or Bad Juju quests (AGAIN), as I had already elected to go for Invective a second time around with my fourth received missive.
Has anyone else had this issue, or know of a way around it? Or is this an actual bug with my game/account?

Theirs a set of 3 bounties and a set of 2 the set with 3 shows up way more often.

11 times mate, and some guy said he went 26 times before SGA came up

They won't be an option if you have them already and haven't finished them.

I keep getting the same two over and over again. Thorn and invective 5 or 6 times now in a row. All i want is the pocket infinity one so i can get those 10 fusion rifles out of my vault

Yep i have the same issue. Those 3 you mentioned show up far more often then any of the others. I got quite a few missives and i can say that its about 75% for the ones you mentioned.

Make sure you don't have any of them left in your inventory. I had all three of those as well and kept taking a while to complete one of the 3 - and when I would get another I would only have the option at the previous 2 I just finished. I didn't start to get the other two until I had cleared out all the previous ones. Like you, I was about to lose hope.

1 ReplyHappened to me, I had 8 times the 3 same bounties but I got em by turning in vanguard bounties, then I tried turning in a lot of Eris morn, crucible or IB bounties and finally got the 2 last (pocket infinity, not universal remote by the way). So maybe change your play style? Worked for me but it may be luck.

I have this problem as well. they say it's RNG, but i'm not sure. I'm just going to hold the 3 main ones and hope for Pocket Infinity or SGA. I've already completed all but the SGA. I haven't seen it drop in weeks. I've have 7 or 8 missives all the same 3 bounties.

Well, you have the best out of the 5. That's the bright side of this.

It was my 8th or 9th before i got the other bounties.

1 ReplyIf you have multiple characters is the only fix i know. I continually get the same missions with 1 character I have.
