REQUEST: VoG Light 30 Gear Upgrade Kits to Light 36 and higher.
you all know that. atheon on hard was really hard, of course without cheesing him. where are the upgrade kit for the vex helmet and more, because you got vex modifier on it? the gear in vog looks nicer, so dear bungie, 10000 glimmer or so, upgrade for light 36 please, otherwise you ruin your own game more and more.
also, the weapons: 300 damage instead of 331? why? vog is much harder, so please give us upgrade kits or like that. insane internal testing here. ty.

Just update VOG gear and weapons so it's relevant again else, fewer people will play it - Bungie, do you seriously want this?

This same post has been posted 1000 times before and another 1000 times before that. Just let it go. VoG gear looks cool, was cool, is dead. Fatebringer and Mythoclast are becoming relics, too.

1 ReplyJust give us a level 32(or 36 lvl when HoW drops) VoG mode. Can pick up max lvl gear and throw in an upgrade mat to upgrade pre dlc Vog gear.. I think that'll keep us day one players here at least a little bit longer?

1 ReplyThey wont. It's an mmo, technically. I do think the term gets stretched here, but.. they rely on dlc sales to continue the game. There's won't be a "Destiny 2" so they will do all they can to make you feel like you have to buy TDB. But you already knew that

1 ReplyI really like my warlock's Crota's End helmet, because I personally fell it looks like dragon horns, but the Vex are my favorite enemy faction. I would rather wear armor made from the bodies of time traveling robots than the corpses of evil space zombies.

I agree with RSix, but I think another possibility is, the amount of light on the raid armour you get, should depend on your guardians Light Level. i.e.: Level 26 - 30 = armour light 30. Level 30+ = armour light 36. Level 32+ = armour light 42. If it is like this, it could feel more balanced, and also that you get to keep the feeling of EARNING the armour (this system would go for raid weapons too). As well as not getting the new players instantly up to the same point as game release players.

3 RepliesThe developers know that if you could get lvl 32 kit and 331 weapons from VoG that a lot of players would never have even bothered with the Crouton's Endparts raid since it is a bullet sponge fest instead of a test of communication and team work like VoG. I have two sets of 32 CE gear in my vault and I run 31 because I don't like my titans looking like a turd made from eating a pine cone.

I've explored this some and argue Banshee is the ideal candidate to breath new life into old gear. Without upgrading VoG Light levels and Impact stats when Vanguard gear is better Atheon is doomed to side-show. The real problem is this Borderlands ladder thinking: I don't want to level-up, I want to evolve.

PLEASE do this. I hate the look of the Crota Gear apart from the hunter boots.. We need to be able to transfer light values to other gear. VOG and iron banner gear looks so much better.

The reason the weapons are weaker and the gear is weaker is because the monsters are weaker. Lvl 26 is the same as roc playlist. Are you saying that people should be able to pull raid equilivrlant gear from strike playlist? Increase the diffaculty and then upgrade the drops.

im with you ..... i joined the game after the dlc and the crota armor makes my lock look like liberace and that really pisses me off ... so what are my choice's huh? wear gear that makes my char look like a homosexual piano player or stay level 31 and wear VOG gear. honestly i feel ripped off by you bungie and if you can not come up with better textures or at least give us a more choice like non fairy looking armor i will not be buying the next dlc. at least being able to upgrade vog gear would be a compromise i could live with considering i payed 80 dollars for your game and expansion with very little content and horrible cosmetic options just to name a few problems i have with your game /cough heavy ammo bug please show me you give a f%#@ or lose a customer

3 RepliesWhile I agree that They should allow upgrading older equipment, it's got to at least use more modern tools. Like.. maybe the glimmer cost will enable it to get to 33 light, but requires a CE only mat to get it to 36 (Maybe even Radiant mats), to ensure you will do the most current endgame material. Same with the guns, purchase a upgrade kit for a lot of glimmer, but to max the weapon requires radiant mats.
