What can make Destiny an over all better experience...

There is a positive out look on this so bear with me :) It's funny how a lot of people will say they are not addicted. I will admit that i am but to an extent. Its not just one game its knowing games themselves are addicting, and some are worse then others. They are designed to keep gamer's interest so that part is a given because why play a game if you're not intrested? But, this is where Bungie is getting out of hand with it. They are taking what they have been reading off of this forum as far as feedback goes and using it to their advantage for the worse, but it can get better. Its more then obvious that they are getting worse because they added a wish list and knowing its been up for how long? Think about this for a moment. What have they added that is on that wish list that has actually improved this game? Fixing gliches like perks on "one weapon" is not improving this game, its just fixing that one weapon and if it hasn't been working for a long time knowing the lack of fixing things Bungie has. That weapons perk is not of any interest to anyone really because its been so long on using it. Most forget about it and except the weapon on how it is and moves on. Anyways, back to the addiction and Bungie not improving this game but all the while we know they can. Gamer's know it can be improved by just putting in the effort on fixing what needs to be fixed a little at a time, and adding things that actually improve this game like whats on the wish list. Communicating with the community is a big head start on all of this on how the community will react and how many moght see things different. Whay i have noticed and im sure others as well. A lot of things that are set in this game are set out in the distance. It's there and it is a reward but not in the way that most would hope. This is where the RNG comes in place and how Bungie is not improving this game. They have actually made it worse to the point that most don't see this or some chose not to. Then you have the ones that just don't care, but for the ones that do see it do care one way or another. TIME GATE> >BLACK SPINDLE/ SLEEPER /QUEENS QUEST/ GUN SMITH/ CRYPTARCH/ VARIKS/ NIGHTFALL/ HEROIC STRIKE/ IRON BANNER/ RAID/ CROX OF CROTA/ XUR ETC. All the while dealing with the>>>RNG. All of this^^^ is designed to keep players addicted. Its not that Bungie created this its just them feeding off of what you created within yourself. So by setting it in the distance knowing it will reward you, but on a condition. This is where the RNG makes it ten times worse knowing gamer's are hoping for that elusive drop. Making one come back in trying it over and over and over and over and over and over and over again with high expectations. Not everyone has high expectations, but its there more then most would care to share... Knowing all that is bad enough. What does it do to a person that has a life? Not every single gamer on Destiny is a kids/teen that can just stay home and sit on mommy and daddy's couch and waste the entire day playing this game. That being said, Bungie knows this and they know gamer's are addicted to this game because of the elusive loot. So like most they will keep coming back doing the samthings over and over and over again because Bungie by this time in TTK has at least double the grind even though they lied again and said they reduced it. Keeping things in the distance is just like something a kid wants real bad but its just out of reach. Your the kid... Now the positive aspect of it to make it feel less than a chore or a second job, as i shake my head... that feeling of not getting anywhere? We all have felt this one way or another. Especially if you're a solo player or one that has a hard time making friends and that can make this game miserable at times knowing you can't complete all events. That happens because a lot of activities are a three man/women fire team or more. Bungie did add Xur and Xur can help new gamer's, but Xur is also a hypocrite lol. They did add matchmaking but only in certain things. That alone is a huge argument with in itself amongst gamer's and Deej's "philosophy" about this game lol. sorry had to laugh :) They added the daily, crucible, patrolling, quest, missions, bounties, but that's it. Small things to lighten the load up. Yeah joining a clan can help but then again you are limited on things as far as what clans are capable of doing. Meaning the clan has a limit on what they can do as a group that means 3 or more. Leaving it to where you have to separated majority of the group a lot of the time. But, it can help in some aspects in this game and lighting up the feeling of struggling. So in all of this. What can Bungie actually do to improve this game and make it an all around better experience for the gamer's to enjoy themselves and their well over times spent in this game?

  •
Bungie. Can you put matchmaking on Raids? I haven't been able to play one yet. Going on communities or websites to meet people to play a raid is the same as matchmaking anyway but much more difficult to get a game. Different topic. I love the SRL. Lots of good loot. Just want some Legendary suits to upgrade to use in the rest of the game. Also I would like to see it return like Iron Banner. Just add a couple more tracks and return Iron Banner to Control.
Loot system broken: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6zb3js31ca305ak/Photo%20Dec%2006%2C%209%2050%2000%20PM.png?dl=0 This is for Sparrow Racing. This isn't old content. This is new and it STILL happens. Also, there needs to be a way to obtain Silver in-game so microtransactions are a TRUE option to obtain all items like Halo 5. I don't like microtransactions at all, but this is the BETTER way to do it.

#1 problem. No game options. No custom story missions, strikes, raids, and pvp. I cant play the omnigal strike with brawler whenever I like. Or a custom pvp where there is no shield regen. Everyone using a red death. (Or suros) But this will never happen. Custom game variants are drip fed in the form of weekly, nightfall, iron banner, and too. The games longevity is based around the player not having access to options that are considered standard in most shooters. By taking the players ability to explore the possibilities, the player is left wanting more. And thus it creates a higher demand for "content". Or in their eyes $$$. People hate destiny because of its game model, and what imact it could potentially have on the gaming industry due to its fiscal success. The gameplay is fun as hell. I want to play and have fun, doing an activity that is fun in itself. Not, do this so you can get that. Rince and repeat.

To make Destiny better: 1) Normal mode Oryx checkpoint gives guaranteed 310 gear. Same with Hard mode Oryx checkpoint, but with 320 gear. 2) Crota and Vault of Glass returns to Destiny, with 310 and 320 gear available. 3) The Wolves have found their new God: A monstrous hybrid of Kell and Servitor. Defeat this abomination in the new House of Wolves raid, with 310 and 320 gear up for grabs. 4) Nightfall loot can only drop 310 to 320 gear. 5) Legacy engrams have a clearer description (for new players). Engram for year 2 weapons have been added to Xurs inventory. 6) At light 300+ blue engrams have a higher chance of dropping legendary items. Same with legendary engrams giving Exotics. 7) New vehicle: The Soul of Flight, a pair of mechanical wings that keep the Guardian in the air, while firing a beam of solid light. 8) New crucible game type: Aerial Combat, a crucible game based around The Soul of Flight, complete with its own maps. 9) Different countries/zones are now available from orbit. Added the ability to spawn in different areas on planets, as long as you have discovered/unlocked them. 10) New enemy: Dark Embodiment. Copies of foes you have faced before. Shielded copies have Darkness shields. 11) Added two new damage types: Light and Dark. Light does more damage against bosses, Dark does more damage against Guardians (things like final round and luck in the chamber cannot be found on Dark weapons) 12) New Exotics: The Glare of The Hidden (Sniper) Dark Weapon Perk 1: Hidden Awakening, first round will always remove shields Perk Tree: Hammer Forged, Extended Mag, Custom Optics Exotic Perk: The Glare of The Hidden. Headshot kills result in a speed buff, as well as invisibility for 5 seconds. The Unbinding (Fusion Rifle) Light Weapon Exotic Perk: Unbound, it stalks its prey.
Not alot of ammo in Mag, instead of firing a burst of lasers, a creature of Light is created [with a random element] and kills your foes.
Blood Bath (Shotgun) Dark Weapon Perk 1: Hopeless. One shot in the Mag, with a huge spread, huge damage, and virtually no range. Exotic Perk: Blood Bath. Introduces a bleeding effect. In case anything actually survived. The Cleanse Effect (Sidearm) Light Weapon Perk 1: Think on your Sins. Produces a damaging aura around you while holding this weapon. Perk Tree: Quick Draw, Extended Mag, Hammer Forged Exotic Perk: The Cleanse Effect. Creates an explosion of Light upon killing a minion of the Darkness. 13) Added the ability to create skins for Weapons and Armour (Note: Once skin is applied, you cannot dismantle it until you scrape of the paint with a Paint Scraper [Consumable] bought from Eva, the Guardian Outfitter.) 14) New types of Ghost: Attack Ghosts and Treasure Ghosts. Attack Ghosts will, well, attack. Treasure Ghosts will alert you if an engram, chest, or ammo brick is nearby. Automatically marks nearby materials. 15) All year 1 Exotic weapons will be bought to year 2.
Anything I missed?
• I think just not being terrified of people making progress would help the game a ton. I mean like 10% of players raid. 90% will never max out before the next dlc anyways. My percentages might be a bit off but you know what I'm saying. Most of the people who race to max level would keep playing anyways. Destiny is fun and the people I play with make it a great experience. There is no need to stretch out things with triple RNG. I guess holding players back is their easy solution to players hounding them for more content. But holding back rewards doesn't make the content last any longer. Things are still gonna get old after a while. The best thing they could do to keep players in the game and having fun would be to update year one content. We would instantly have like 5x the amount of content to play. Combine that with the removal of triple RNG and you would never hear from me again because I would be playing destiny instead of being in the forums.

                          • I have said this time and time again make the daily grind worth doing by making engrams on s 310 have a 1 in 50 chance of being above 300 all way up to 320 would give me a reason to play destiny again other than just do the raid.

Well first I would suggest they abandon the Crucible. Since day ONE this game mode has held the game back as a whole. Reasons... -Bungie cannot balance the PvP on the weapon side or super ability side without wrecking play in PvE. -no dedicated servers has led to rampant issues with lag. Which in turn allows cheats to prosper with Bungie seemingly unconcerned. -Cruci-babies. The very vocal part of a diaper wearing teary eyed community who never tire of asking for nerfs on EVERYTHING! From weapons, aim assistance,Titan skating,Supers. You name it and these pissy pussies have wanted it nerfed. -horrible map design. Really some of the worst that can be found in any multi-player FPS. How many maps are there now that are nothing more than blind corner hallways connecting cramped open spaces with more hallways. Gee cannot imagine why shotguns are part of every players load out. Finally without the PvP side weighing things down maybe the designers can get to work on adding more content and increasing replay ability. Start getting creative again with weapon design and perks as well as armor since they will no longer be shackled to "balance" for the sake of PvP and its horde of whiners. Allow whatever servers are being used currently for PvP to be put into use to implement OPTIONAL matchmaking across all modes in PvE. Including 6 man patrols, private matchmaking and public matchmaking Use that extra computing power to bring more life to the planets we now explore. More enemies, more events and better A.I. . Those that argue that PvP is a must have and that losing PvP would cost to many players,I would counter with this argument. With a more dynamic and alive environment full of activities and enemies. New and unique weapons and armor with fun and interesting perks. Optional matchmaking for the remaining modes of play. And finally a way to actually communicate with players in the wild, then I would say Destiny would have little problem bringing in fresh players looking for a solid co-op space opera shooter.

                                          • An offline mode would be nice but I doubt that would ever happen. Remove the cap on currency in this game. Have patrol bounties award Legendary Marks. Rather than a random loot system have vendors or factions carry the items we need or want and we instead farm for materials to upgrade our weapons and armor. We choose what perks we want on our weapons and armor but the game limits how many perks we can use. In other words I want to create my own customization not have the game decide for me on some random loot system. I want to have more control over my experience. I think that it is pathetic that the my favorite weapons in the game have been rare level weapons with damage ratings of 200 and under because they've provided perks that I have yet to see on Legendary and Exotic weapons with ratings of 280 and higher. Seriously????

They could just give you the weapon for doing nothing and u would still find something to complain about. I mean "you" as in everyone.
