Why the Heck isn't there Raid Bounties?
Raid bounties! Like seriously. Raids are, for me, one of the best things to play. I normally run each raid 4 or 5 times. But what happens when I get another exotic as a reward? I have to do all the bounties from Eris Morn, Vanguard, and crucible. And because exotics take a ton of experience It normally takes a few days. No experience is rewarded in raids. So why not add bounties? Heck, it'll stop some of the cheesing for some fire teams. (That'll get Bungies attention) Bump if you agree. Here are some ideas:
100 kills without dying in a raid
Defeat the death singer before her Liturgy of Ruin starts.
Defeat Crota without the Oversoul spawning.
Get 30 shotgun kills without dying in a raid
Beat the Bridge part in CE without dying
Defeat the Templar with no Teleports
What Raid bounty ideas do you guys have? Thoughts? If you like it bump it.

You can do the bounties while doing the raid, I do it all the time.

I think it would be smart to have completion bounties, much like the vanguard one for doing a heroic/Nightfall. I always thought it was stupid you didn't get rep for Eris for killing crota

1 ReplyI don't hate the idea of raid bounties but I can't stand behind them. Having raid bounties will change the focus of the players in the raid. Instead of the entire team trying to be a uniform unit, everyone will be trying to do their own bounties and be distracted from the objective of the raid. Raids are hard enough when the group is cooperating. Not only that, but now you will actually make the players compete with each other instead of working together. Imagine if one of the raid bounties was "Kill the sword bearer in the Crota fight 3 times". The bounty only counts if YOU deliver the shot that kills him. But three other players in the group are trying to finish the same bounty. So now, instead of the group concentrating on doing their assigned tasks and coordinating to take out Crota, four people jump down so that they can kill the sword bearer and finish their bounty first. Raid bounties won't work.

Wow I've never actually though about that. I guess they're not required but they might be cool.

1 ReplyHow about an "I Lift" bounty? Completing a Raid with someone low leveled. "Talking to Strangers," completing a Raid with someone who joined squad from the Tower.

9 RepliesLol I'm the 1% that said raids suck :). If they'd make the VoG scale to 32 I'd be cool. Scrotams end sucks. It's the horde mode everyone asked for with an overglorified knight as a boss. Atleast atheon had mechanics. Scrota is point and shoot ghorns and allow sword bearer to kill him.

1 ReplyThe raid is supposed to be a puzzle you have to explore and discover. If they were to implement bounties into it, it would result in some of the puzzle being uncovered. Take the templar for instance: If you kill him without him teleporting you unlock a chest. If the bounty told you to do that people would have been even more like to find it, also people who hadn't played before would know the templar can teleport. Or crota, I had no idea what an oversoul was at first. Its a great idea, but sadly idk if bungie cares about good ideas anymore

4 RepliesI never understood why you get nothing in the raid except for once a week. Why shouldnt you get XP? At least that way those who have already done it can at least be working towards something whilst they help out others who need a team to complete.

Bungie needs to get creative with the bounties,, not complicated like with what they tried with the dark below bounties, they're a pain in the ass... Raid bounties would be a giant plus. Maybe even weekly bounties?
