What’s with these forums and the honestly unhealthy streamer dislike? Just because someone broadcasts gameplay that makes them public enemy number one lmfao.

They do it for a living. That’s why they have a lot more resources and advantages going into the raid. An that’s totally fine. But my problem is that they seem to be the standard for raid launches, which causes problems for the „hobby“-player. Most people don’t find enjoyment in doing a raid for 16 hours straight.

Edited by [[BIG SHOT]]: 5/23/2021 4:58:22 PMContest was made specifically to not give streamers an advantage. If you remember back when scourge first came out streamers like Gigz were ABOVE the raid requirements. Contest was introduced so that people who want to join for a day one would be at the same level as the streamers. The reality is a skill difference, as hard of a pill that is to swallow for these casual infested forums who are mad they don’t get an adept weapon from logging in, it’s the truth.

I feel like the problem with contest modifier is that most teams just can’t complete the raid in the first day at all.. even after WF had happened like 15 hours ago
-
Again, it’s a skill difference. John Smith is most likely not going to get the day one clear compared to people like Sweatcicle or Gladd.
-
I know that, but why even have it when challenge mode is how you get all the day one stuff? Ya know? Ultimately it doesn’t matter since it’s over, just thought the forced contest mode was kinda lame
-
What resources and advantages do they have? I am curious

Then just play on Sunday?
Then just play on Sunday?
It‘s easier to find a group on on Saturday than on Sunday since a lot of people have to work on monday.

Doesn’t seem to be the case. The destiny lfg is still full of people looking to do vault today. I got to gatekeepers with my team before it got too late to continue. This raid will be easy af once contest mode is off
