A guy I used to work with once said something very insightful.
He said, [i]"You don't eat at McDonald's because the food is great. You eat there because its **fast**."

The point? You can either have your games cranked out rapidly, so you always have something new. OR you can have your games done RIGHT, but that will require you to tolerate some droughts, much longer development cycles....and probably higher prices.
But you can't have both.

Actually, once the ball gets rolling, you can have both

No, you can't. Just look at Call of Duty. They have three studios workijng as fast as humanly possible, so that a new game is available every year....and those games STILL have rough launches. There are no free lunches to be had. If you want quality then you either need to be willing to spend more money, or allow more time.

Edited by Newlife-11: 9/21/2019 9:09:04 PMWell yeah, I would spend $150 on an infinite game/deluxe edition! Or never ending game! But it had to be done right I would, 🥴🥴🥴
I would spend $150 on an infinite game/deluxe edition! Or never ending game!
Guaranteed money loser for the developer.
