That’s an interesting question, and no one on earth has an answer yet. I think that we will be a completely different being altogether, with no concept of evil.

 • Then if God would do that, then why create us in the first place? For us, either you're stripped away from what you were to change entirely, or you go to hell. What would even be the point of hell if God planned to change those who made it anyway?

 •
I think that we will be a completely different being altogether, with no concept of evil.
If that was the case why couldn’t god of created us as beings with no concept of evil in the first place? We would still (supposedly) have free will but we would also be able to live in a world without suffering and evil. To me it’s a logical flaw that’s hard to overcome. The only answer is our free will is limited somehow in heaven. Either the will to do evil or the ability to do evil is removed. Is that truly free will then? Can we freely choose to sin in heaven? If the desire to sin is removed it’s not really free will is it? It also doesn’t really answer the question of where evil comes from in the first place. If god is purely good and everything in the universe including us (and the devil) was created by god then where does evil come from?

 • Well, the way I see it is that once we'd have been in heaven and see the difference between what evil did to the world and what a world without evil is like we are so far removed from even wanting to do evil that no one would ever choose to. Interesting question

 • I think it’s just a concept we can’t grasp right now. And, you don’t have to believe this, but humans were originally created without sin. Then they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and that’s where that came from. And for Satan rebelling, I don’t know why he did it. He wanted to be greater than God, but whatever incited that rebellion in him, I don’t know.

 •
Then they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and that’s where that came from.
But didn’t god create the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? If god is wholly good then everything he creates should also be wholly good. Therefore it should be just the tree of knowledge of good right? The only conclusion is god is capable of evil or that god is not all powerful and his creation is not perfect.

 • I’m assuming it was just a normal fruit tree. However, as soon as God told them not to eat from it, then it became the tree that we know of. Adam and Eve had no idea of what “evil” or a “sin” was. They probably didn’t even think to lust after the fruit. But as soon as Satan told them about it, everything went downhill.
