Yeah kinda, just because I can’t really use them if I want to use the D1 setup which I consider vastly better. Perfect paradox is my favorite shotgun and I don’t think I’ll ever be using it again is my point, it just seems like if it uses special ammo, why not put it in the special slot. I think it would all be a whole lot simpler and every gun would be potentially viable

There is no special slot. You're just being stubborn. The fact one weapon you liked moved to kinetic isn't a justifiable reason to ask them to change the entire weapon system.

Ifirst of all, yes there is a special slot...? Second, it’s not one weapon, the ones I’m mostly concerned about are every special weapon that uses primary ammo, they are objectively much weaker than shotguns and snipers, so they are for the most part useless, they should put those in the primary slot and put the shotguns and snipers in the primary back into the special slot and I think we would have a very good system like in D1. I’m not just being stubborn.

No it isn't. Slots are Kinetic/Energy/Heavy, but ammo drops have been changed to Primary/Special/Heavy. Your argument is based on stubbornly rejecting a new system that offers far more flexibility.

I see, you might be right about the weapon slots then. Anyway Why do you keep calling me stubborn just because we don’t agree?? Doesn’t that make you just as stubborn? I’m not saying the new system isn’t more flexible in some ways, I just think it also is restrictive in others and that the restrictions far outnumber the new flexibilities.

The only possible argument you can make about how it's restrictive is because some special weapons you like are in the kinetic slot and can't be used together with some of your preferred kinetic primaries. The reason you're stubborn is because as stated your rejecting an objectively better system because it's not like the old one you're used to.

How is it objectively better? Like I said it’s not just a few weapons is my problem it’s a pretty huge amount of specials that use primary ammo.

No specials use primary ammo. And if you use a kinetic special you can just use an energy primary.

Yes which I originally thought was normal but then what I don’t get is, why not just have the one using the special ammo in the “special” slot (I’m just gonna keep calling it that for convenience) and the one using primary ammo in the primary slot. That just seems really overcomplicated to me.

Because of tactical flexibility. You can use the D1 system, or the D2 system (to an extent), or be a total jackass and equip three snipers.

Yeah I guess I just don’t like that I have to sacrifice some of my favorite weapons for the ability to be a jackass sometimes
