If someone’s load out or lack there of can negatively impact my gameplay why should I let it? We all play for fun. Maybe your definition differs from mine as it’s not fun when randos are constantly dead and can’t do anything to help contribute to activity success because they choose not to equip the items capable of providing success.

Exactly. Why should I put myself in that situation. Leave and hopefully join a smarter couple of randos. If everyone did this then they might actually clue in that they’re useless and nobody wants to waste their time playing with them. D2 matchmaking would benefit as a result because they’d either learn or leave the game. Both scenarios are win-win.

why? for the challenge! like going up against a fully stacked 4-man group in crucible. sure, you're probably gonna get your ass handed to you, but......what if you win?? crucible scenario just happened to me last night and it felt great. the heroic strike thing happened to me this morning too and it felt great. had Lake of Shadows strike with randoms. black hole modifier. neither guy using "right weapons/loadout". one of the other guys, I call him "superman" had like 120 kills to my 60. that's great. because I spent the whole strike reviving his ass from his 17 deaths. why???? 2nd strike was pyramidion. this one is not as bad as there are not as many of those taken thralls/wall beams/shielded taken etc. this strike wasn't as bad deaths-wise, but the other two guys just weren't killing anything!!! was it less fun for me in either of these situations? no. and as for the initial comment about "under-leveled", this makes no sense to me? when I was in the 350s, I was matched up with randoms in the 350s. now I am in the 380s, and both strikes this morning I was with guys in their 380s as well - these guys were not 338 and 346!! unless this is not a normal occurance? I have never seen heroic strikes where I am with randoms more than 10 power levels above or below me, so that comment just doesn't make sense? if they are under leveled, guess what? so are you.
