I don't understand all the bitching. I've used plenty of shaders but I have so many left just from playing the game that I don't think it's as big a problem as everyone is making. There are plenty of ways to get shaders, all you have to do is. PLAY. THE. GAME. I know it's a hard concept to grasp and all, but try it.

Because in the past, if we had a shader, it was ours to keep forever. And we got them by PLAYING THE GAME. Not a hard concept to grasp.
-
This is D2. Not a hard concept to grasp, though perusing these forums would tell you otherwise.
-
So? All the concepts of the previous game carried over, even the customization aspect. Making them consumable is a step backwards.
-
It's a step forward.

Explain

Hahaha you first pal. You made the claim that it's backwards first.

Edited by DaMidniteHour: 9/22/2017 7:19:32 PMBecause, from D1, when you get a shader, it was yours permanently. You can switch it out without the risk of losing them. With the addition of kiosks, you'd always have a collection of them to switch out at-will. Now? There's a risk. There's a risk of losing a shader if you find better gear or better shaders out there. Once you use it, it's gone. Going from a system where you always have something to a system to where can lose something just from following the rules is going backwards. Your turn.
-
So because something becomes more challenging it is a step backwards? No, definitely still your turn. That argument fell right on its face. Now shaders can represent multiple completions of certain activities, a regular fealty to the upcoming factions or even destinations, and are now a reason to return to certain grinds.
-
As I figured, you had no counter-argument. And your talk about "challenge" is avoiding the point. We've done those very same challenges in D1 and still got shaders. Difference was we kept them.
-
Yeah, so you want unlimited shaders. You want stuff for free. I think it's better when it's actually more challenging to maintain a look that you want. That gives it more weight. Also, I put up pros of the new system. No need for a counterargument when you never made a case for yours.
-
Yeah, you have nothing. I'm done here.
-
You have nothing. You literally just described the old system. No pros, no cons, no reasoning.
-
That was a separate game. In THIS game shaders are much different. You can mix and match. I know your simple mind can't get around that this isn't D1, but it is. Shit changes and evolves. Not always for the better.
-
Which is why folks are up in arms over the shader ordeal. They changed it for the worse.
