Not many women play FPS. Fewer still make it to the maximum level in a game like Destiny. Fewer still play frequently. Of those remaining, they typically have a set group of friends they play with. Of the 0.000001% remaining, fewer still use their mic or mention they're female due to horny and/or rude teenage boys.

My wife has all 3 characters close to max level. She will play almost everyday even if it's for an hour. In the wintertime, we play for hours. She doesn't Mic much since I sit right next to her, but she will listen in with her headphones. The reason she won't Mic is because she will accidentally swear and she gets embarrassed. She does it a lot actually and it's funny as hell. She also rocks out in pve and she's really coming around in PvP. (Where she swears the most!!) LOL!

Unfortunately we are still on ps3 but, we have 2 - 48" tv's side by side in our gaming room and we play together always. As soon as we get done with this dam mortgage we are going through (taking forever), we are upgrading to ps4. Hopefully it will be before RoI, but at the rate this has been going...maybe Xmas??

That's the first time I've seen someone say they are waiting to pay off their mortgage before making a few hundred dollar purchase.

I do hope you get at least one console so you won't miss out. They're getting cheaper and whatnot. Best of wishes.

Wait! What!? You can't transfer after August 16 th? I was under the impression you could. This is real suckie news if its true. Not sure we'll come back to play if we have to start all over. Guess I'll start looking for a New game to play on ps4.

But say you get something cool on PS3 after that date. It won't transfer over when you switch.

My understanding is that after that point it isn't an automatic transfer, but that you have to go through some type of manual process.

You know what you could do is get a friend that has a PS4 and transfer the stuff now so you don't have to worry.

Nice, we have a similar set up but with ps4. However his is broke right now so we are sharing for a few weeks until we get a new one.

The kids spilled a soda on it, and I've cleaned it before ( not the first time somethings been spilled on it ) but this time I can't get it working. Yeah we play IB and trials. We've got a clan if you're interested, they are all pretty chill and we play for fun , not super competitive.

I don't have the kid problems anymore. They all grew up and having kids of their own. They are real jealous that we now have a game room now, but I'm trying to fill up the rooms so they can't come back!!....JK (maybe) But yea, I'll try to keep you guys in mind. We are older and real chill. We play for fun and it's something we do together among other things. Remember, a family that games together stays together!

I don't think he meant [i]all[/i] female players. You would be the minority. I do believe and agree with what he wrote. It's a "for the most part" or "in general" response. - I don't think females in general play video games compared to thier male counterparts. - I think, of the female players of video games, those that prefer to play fps games is less than those that don't. - I think in general females play less hours of video games per week than their male gamer counterparts. - I think there is a stigma and occasional bias toward female gamers of fps games and many do remain silent to avoid conflict or even romantically inclined advances. Now, is this ALL women? No. But does this apply to more women than it doesn't? I believe so.
