Guardian Link- Episode 3, Track

The Tower, Earth Bronze looked at the titan's body, laying in the tower infirmary. The door next to him opened, and a nurse came out. "He's still alive, but his guardian link with his ghost is weak. If you want him to survive, he needs his ghost." The nurse explained. Bronze nodded in understanding as Jolt walked up to him. She leaned on the wall next to him. "So... We have tracking on that dark hunter. You want to help me and Garret find him, and possibly fill his body with lead?" Jolt asked. Bronze's head perked up. He slowly turned his head toward Jolt. "Bronze?" Jolt asked, backing away. "YES!" Bronze yelled, "I'll grab my guns and pack a lunch! This will be so fun, just the three of us, helping my friend and having fun on... Where are we going?" "The Dreadnaught." Dreadnaught, Hull Breach "Here we are," Garret sighed, grabbing ammo from the transmat zone. "His last known location is inside the cabal ship." "I have a question." Bronze declared, "What about that stone we found?" "What, the light stone?" Garret asked, "They're still working on a way to have that help us. Come on, lets be on our way." "Let's hustle, ladies." Jolt said, pumping her shotgun. The team set for the Cabal ship. Dantalion Exodus VI, Bridge "I should be able to pinpoint his location through the console here," Jolt's ghost said. "Hurry up," Garret said, I have a feeling something's not right." "You're ALWAYS worried, Wuss." Jolt said. "If you could just-" Jolt's ghost intervened. "I found it! His location is... Right... here?" The trio stopped, looking around. "So, you guardians have decided to interrupt my work? How stupid." Rasped a voice from the shadows. "Give us my best friend's ghost back, dark hunter!" Bronze yelled. There was a long pause. "Did you just call me... A hunter? Heheheheh. I am no hunter. My name is Tarantella. And you, have just interrupted my intel run." Garret took a shot with his Hawkmoon at a corner of the room. A voice gasped in frustration. Tarantella stepped out of the shadows, his smoky figure seemed to curl around the entire wall. He swept his hand out from behind him, firing a pitch black assault rifle at the three. "Get out of this room, it's too tight! Woah, WATCH OUT!" Jolt yelled. ____________________________________________ A squad of cabal soldiers stomped around the ship, looking every which way. The legionaries stopped to take a break and had a chat. "Hey, you guys wanna see something cool?" "Sure." "Go ahead" "Whatever" "Alright. See here, if you tune your slug thrower to this position, you... WHAT IS THAT?!? The legionaries roared as Jolt crashed through a window in the bridge, scattering the legionaries. They pointed their slug rifles at Jolt as she rose up, but slowly turned their heads upward. Tarantella stomped through the doorway after Garret and Bronze had scrambled out, aiming their weapons at him. He aimed his rifle at the legionaries, and took them out within seconds. Jolt looked at Tarantella, spotting a faulty beam above the doorway behind him as the legionaries' heads pumped out oil. "BRONZE!" Jolt yelled, "you remember the console we were at? I left something there. Can you get it for me?" "Okay!" Bronze yelled back, dashing back into the bridge, bashing into Tarantella on the way and making him stumble. "What?" Tarantella said, regaining his balance. Garret quickly picked up on the plan and took aim at the ceiling behind Tarantella, ready shoot at the beam's support. Jolt ran up to a dazed Tarantella, kicking away his rifle and punching him in the jaw. Tarantella's head quickly snapped back forward for a head butt, nearly missing Jolt, he swung his leg in an arc, knocking Jolt's feet from under her. He grabbed her shotgun and aimed at her head. "MOVE!" Garret yelled. Jolt quickly launched herself away from Tarantella right as a beam from the ceiling crashed onto him. The dust from the crash cleared as Garret and Jolt walked toward the fallen beam. Tarantella, stuck under the beam, lifted his head, coughing. "Give us the ghost, Tarantella. You're pinned down." "Pinned down? Oh, ohohoh no. You can have your ghost back, because that was impressive. But know this. I haven't lost yet. we haven't lost." Tarantella said, tossing the ghost out. Garret and Jolt looked at each other. "Jolt! I went back to the console but there was nothing there and I- woah!" Bronze yelled as he ran back, only to see Tarantella lifting the beam. Jolt took aim at Tarantella, getting ready to fill his face with buckshot, but she was too late. With a puff of smoke, Tarantella was gone, the beam falling with a loud slam where he stood. Jolt scooped up the ghost and looked at Bronze. "Come on, Bronze." She said, "let's get your friend back."
