Real talk, grimoire cards
In the game, where would you like to see them?
Edit 1: A lot of people mentioned seeing them show up during loading screens or while traveling to destinations. Others would like direct storytelling techniques, such as cutscenes or dialogue.
A few people brought up seeing them in your living quarters, which was also requested but isn't a feature. :(
Keep the ideas coming, I'm sure Bungie is paying attention to its fan base !
Edit 2: Over half of the response says to have them near the speaker! A good idea thrown out is to have the Speaker himself have them, and to have it accessed through a different button.

I have always thought it should be a library. Could be the bookshelf right behind the speaker

Loading screens sounds good to me... then find an actual use for ships, since right now they are basically skins for your loading screens.

I personally think they should add them near the vanguard mentors, on the two sides there are two bookshelves...

An npc that "reads" them to you would be sweet. Like the mass effect codex entries.

an in-game console in the tower would read it to you in the voices of the People the grimoir cards are depicting. and for the grimoir cards that are descriptions, rather than stories, they should be voiced by the speaker so he could be made useful in immersing us further into the world of destiny

I want story that is delivered through cutscenes and dialogue not the broken shitty one we have where in order to learn even the tiniest shred of information you have to go to an app or website to essentially read nothing. And by nothing i mean the story.

How about the gigantic shelf of books near the speaker? Just add an option for press X for "Grimoire" :P

I have the app so it's easy to read them but for those without I think a NPC near the speaker would be a decent idea

Other, small cut scenes or large one i dont care i want cut scenes.

1 Antworten"Ghost menu." Add another button option. Opens up the Grimoire in-game. To others, shows you standing there with your Ghost in-hand, projecting a transparent blue book. Including ANY method for reading these in-game would have made a massive difference.

2 AntwortenWhile I think it would be useful to have them on the speaker to give him a -blam!-ing purpose, I'd prefer them attached to the weapons they are for. Like the girmore for thorn would show up in a little box when you hovered over it a bubble in your inventory.
