I think you need to add to your post the fact that the Predlc weapons we get after DLC will already be Version 2.0... So the argument people made that "be happy, most MMO's make old weapons obsolete. Be happy their letting you keep your favorite exotics." No long applies. In the update Deej confirmed any exotic we get after the DLC hits will already be version 2.0....so only weapons in our inventory need to be manually upgraded to 2.0, that too at a hefty cost...
