Finally a mature thread among the piles of entitled whiners and crybabies.
Thank you Bungie for not catering to the kids who want everything handed to them on a silver platter.
This exotic reset is not REQUIRED. Its optional. If you want a revamped and more powerful version of your gun, then you can't expect it to be upgraded to a whole new level of power with just a simple purchase from Xur.

It's not like the cheese was forced on you... My team an I always beat the Templar legit, because it's just more fun... Skipping the RAID intentionally because of this ? It sound like you just can't find a good group to raid with... Not everyone loves cheese.

Debate? Okay Ill drop this for you. 1. Why is this the solution, why would not adding extra nodes for upgraded weapons be not viable. a. For people who do have upgraded weapons its fine, because they would just be inclined to upgrade it further right? b. For people who did not upgrade it yet, they would begin upgrading it. They will still be subjected to the same RNG as always, so in what way does this new system appease part of the community that has upgraded the majority of their exotics with time and materials? Reason why I am infuriated with you is because you straight up called the community complaining about this change a bunch of whiners and crybabies and yet did not state a single damn thing why it is better then other routes. Oh its Optional? No shiit everything is optional. So fcking what its a "mmo-element" game, your choices should majority be optional. But to keep up with the Iron Banner and Hard Mode difficulty raids you cant just say "hard reset" for every DLC to accommodate for damage changes. That makes no sense! So tell me how it makes sense.

No. However gun to my head and I had to choose the one or the other I would choose the route that requires the most effort rather than the path that leads to me being handed the damn thing. Some of us actually enjoy PLAYING the game we paid for. This is just one other reason for us to play it. The way you choose to see the matter is a matter of perspective. If you cannot view it from my perspective then we have to simply agree to disagree because I am unable to see it from yours.

ROFL correctly? You are just lucky you arent one of these types of people who dont happen to upgrade everything they like to collect. Hell maybe you are lucky to NOT have gotten anything, I dont know. But it sure as hell aint a solution when people aren't happy about something thats legit. Hell you are probably one of those people thats like "ohh the Raid is fine as it is with all its bugs and stuff because its INTENDED." Thats what you sound like. Why not more upgrade slots? I want to level up my exotics (and VoG gear) not re-unlock Flared Magwell.

Explain how you're going to do the new raid on hard without resetting your weapons and armour. Yeah, we have a choice, either keep your exotics the way they are or reset them so you can complete the new raid on hard. Not much of a choice imo.
