Hey man think about it this way, even with the hunters jump on higher jump you only jump about 5 feet in the air. As titans we are extremely lucky to have the highest overall jump. And I use the shoulder charge constantly, it just takes time to get use to. Just like using blink on a warlock instead of the normal jump.

In relation to other classes we may have a nice thing going to make up for the lack of blink, but Lift is still seemingly the only sensible choice for us. (Or rather for me, I can't speak for anyone else). I can't get used to half my screen suddenly vanishing in a puff of space magic every time I dash though. Maybe that's just me.
