With the absence of any kind of in-game map system, I'm thinking I will pick up a Prima Guide this time around, (and I NEVER buy the Strategy Guides.)

There IS an ingame map... Smh @ u.

If you know where everything is at then it takes the fun out of exploring I never view any material (like the ghost locations in this game) I'm playing until I've beat it and have found everything I could on my own (sorry but trying to check every inch of every location gets a little boring). By then you can find a hundred videos on youtube for whatever you're looking for.

Yes there is a guide, but it is going to be by BradyGames not Prima

Nah sometimes it is more fun to try and remember every book and cranny like Real life used to be. And since this is after the collapse of the golden age it kind of goes with lore. Everything has changed so much on every planet that our old maps can't suit the current conditions on said planets.

Screenshots maybe?

I only buy strategy guides as a collectors thing and since it seems destiny is going to be a game I'll love, I might buy a strategy guide (though I won't even use it).

When it comes to MMOs, printed guides are outdated inside a month from release. All the info will be online

Bearbeitet von xBreadcrumBx: 7/12/2014 8:42:33 AMEdit: Grammar IMHO Primaguides are...well, as far as strat guides go they are probably the best. But they are also over priced and almost useless. Honestly, the same information as is in those guides will be available online either within a few days/weeks, or can be discovered. Dunno, just my two cents.
